Great service all the staff are really helpful, lovely room the room is always full of amenities, really good food. If your going and trying the new revised menu make sure you have the squid its delicious, great selections of beers and wine. Excellent breakfast the place has become like a second home after visiting every month this year. Canford is my go to place for business travel in Dorset and Bournemouth area.

Great vibe and quirky rooms, we really enjoyed staying at The Canford. It was a flying visit as we had tickets to see something at Poole Lighthouse and would've liked to have stayed longer. Really friendly and accommodating staff, food was lovely too!

Very comfortable room, large shower, and easy to set, quiet airconditioning. We particularly appreciated the many thoughtful touches, from a large flask of water to the lovely toiletries and even a pillow spray! The food in the bar/restaurant was also very good.

I live locally and pop in for breakfast every couple of weeks. The dining room has a lovely light atmosphere, and their breakfasts are great, from full English to avocado and poached eggs, using locally sourced ingredients. Friendly staff too

Another superb stay at the Canford. I booked to stay for my Wife's birthday and they went above expectation. An upgraded room, birthday card and a complimentary bottle of fizz. A great welcome to such a lovely weekend. Great atmosphere in the bar with the rugby, followed by a candle lit dinner in the conservatory. Lovely cooked breakfast topped off an enjoyable weekend. Great work Canford!

What a beautiful pub/hotel. The rooms are beautiful and done to an amazing standard. The rooms have anything you need and more! We had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning which also made the experience so great, the staff were all so welcoming. We stayed on a Saturday night and the dinner service was busy. But you wouldn’t know as the staff were always there when you needed them. But also created a lovely atmosphere to be in. Thank you so much!

Excellent stay from start to finish. Pub was cosy and inviting, breakfast was delicious and my room (number 6) was gorgeous, with a lovely comfy bed and roll-top bath. Looking forward to my next visit when nearby. Thank Terry and all the team ☺️

Had a fabulous stay at The Canford. The bed was the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in….It was lovely and quiet…….the en suite was really lovely……beautiful decor, very clean and everything worked faultlessly. There was no stale smell in the room that is often part of the hotel experience, even high quality ones. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were courteous and helpful without being too formal. We fully intend to go back for a repeat visit.
