Falsely advertised on easyJet website as having a pool, a bar and a restaurant. The apartment was very worn and tired with mould on the ceiling, cushions and curtains. The pool area, bar and restaurant were shutdown, the pool was green and filthy like a pond, the Wi-Fi signal was too weak to use, the tv didn’t work. We decided to contact our holiday provider and within 15 minutes we had an angry owner in our apartment telling us to leave unless we signed a document promising not to complain, we refused and the owner let himself into our apartment a further two times trying to intimidate us. Our holiday provider tried to make us stay but after many hours and calls eventually found us a better hotel, as we were only on a four day break we lost our first day. We felt shocked and intimidated. Please Do NOT waste your money on this accommodation

We were very pleased with our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with full kitchen, lounge/diner, balcony and roof terrace. What's not to like? We also had a beautiful bougainvillea outside. A change of sheets would have been nice, but not really a problem for just a week. The pool area is spacious with plenty of sunbeds and shade under the trees, but no parasols, and the pool is cold. This did not stop my friend doing her daily exercise, but too chilly for me. Unfortunately the back gate to the pool area was locked, so we had to take the longer route and down a steep flight of steps to access the pool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The negatives of the property are the location (a big problem), and lack of Wifi (an inconvenience) anywhere other than by the pool. The property is advertised as in Armacao de Pera, but is in fact in Alporchinos. The mini market on site was not open, but there is a large supermarket 5 or so minutes up the road and about 7/8 restaurants a bit further on (3 of which are Indian!). The beaches are a good 15/20/25 minutes walk - downhill on the way and therefore uphill on the way back. The main beach at A de P is long, sandy and very busy, but accessible. Of the other 2 coves - Redonda is virtually inaccessible to anyone with walking difficulties and Senhora da Rocha is busy, because boat trips go from there and there is also a restaurant. It is also not very big. We had a boat trip in a traditional Portuguese fishing boat, which was good apart from the dozens of kyakers and a constant stream of small boats also visiting the caves and bays. Apart from these boat trips there doesn't seem much else to do unless you want to hike along the cliffs.

Was a bit apprehensive about this complex as did not know about it and neither of our friends had. Was pleasantly surprised. Staff very welcoming. Helped in anyway they could. The apartment we had was very spacious. Needs some updating but mainly outside. Pool area clean. The "boss" on site and very pleasant. Would we return here?? Yes👍

Upon arrival we were graciously hosted by the female member of staff at reception who generously arranged for our accommodation to be ready early than normal, Whilst we waited we went to the restaurant and had a nice meal before the waiter then told us it was ready. We were thrilled with the spacious 3 bed apartment were given and I could have cried with delight when I saw we had a dishwasher. There are a few restaurants in the local area but within a 10 minute walk there is a supermarket that will equip you for a full self-catering holiday. The pool was never too busy and the beaches are close enough (but be aware that a 15 minute walk feels a lot longer in 30degree heat!). The only thing I found slightly frustrating is that the cleaners don't seem to be able to come in unless you are there, I found it a bit awkward and would rather have not been around as I felt obliged to tidy/assist. But, I note that this isn't a hotel and acknowledge that it's fantastic that this service was available at all. As a family of 5 (3 teenagers) we would have liked to have been a bit closer to the main town but appreciate that if you would like a quiet site you can't have it all. Overall we were really happy with our apartment/site/location but wouldn't return as we would rather be closer to the main facilities but that's our personal preference and not a slight on this place. As 3 star accommodation goes you really can't go wrong.

Great place. Very polite and friendly staff. Clean and looked after accommodation with great air conditioning, the pool was clean and maintained, Would highly recommend. There is a great priced supermarket around 10 minutes walk but a pleasant walk. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
