Our second trip to this outstanding resort and once again it exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to make this such a memorable trip. We had a few problems with car hire which the staff went above and beyond to help us sort. Alessandro the hotel manager took a personal interest in helping us which was a much appreciated personal touch. Breakfast is a highlight on a beautiful veranda overlooking Lake Lugano with no request being too much for the delightful and accommodating staff. On both occasions accommodation has been fantastic with both rooms having a beautiful view of the lake. Beds are wonderfully comfy and pillows are wonderful. Really pleasant bar manager Marco would go to great lengths to serve us. Again a wonderful personal touch. Walking into Cimi and Porlezza is both a really lovely experience with an abundance of Olive trees and fig trees surrounding the complex. We had a couple of overcast days where we used the spa facilities. Again a superb experience. I would highly recommend this environment conscious, customer conscious resort.

We have just returned home from a week at this hotel feeling very relaxed. The staff in all areas from reception to restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and had a lovely view of lake Lugano. We did not pay to use the adult only spa but used the family spa and sauna. We found the best time to go was after 6pm as it was quieter. The spa had sauna, steam room and relax area where children under 16 were not allowed. There are 2 outdoor pools which we did not try as they are not heated and also private beach area. We were on half board, the breakfast had so much choice. The evening menu changed each evening, we had to pay for our drinks. There is parking on site but it is chargeable. The staff are knowledgeable on places to visit.
