This was a break where expectations were met - a wonderful experience of first class service, food and accommodation. The game drives were wonderful as there are no predators there the animals were more relaxed.

Overall stay was amazing, The room was exceptional, only we were not happy with the Pool that we were told it is temperature adjusted where it is not, it’s cold water, which we didn’t make use of it. Anything else was amazing.

The best of both worlds luxury resort on a small reserve (no big 5) but you do get closer than on a larger reserve guide very informative.The resort also has a deserted beach attached which is breathtaking.The food and service are outstanding.The rooms are very luxurious we were lucky to have a villa .Try the lunch on the beach it’s fantastic

Lovely destination for a chilled couple get away! This was money well spent. We stayed at Oceana for three nights, from Friday to Sunday and we were impressed from every meal as well as turn down service, which included our hosts running a rose-petaled bath (upon request) for us every night. The game rides were informative and the animals are tame enough for guests to get a close look. And the view, absolutely stunning!

From the moment you arrive at the gate and Wilson receives/greets you till the moment you leave; the level of service is just beyond anything we've ever experienced!! Not to even mention the food, every meal was out of this world. We can't recommend Oceana enough.

Beautiful location and views especially when eating - stayed in lodge suite no 1 which was massive with wonderful views - very comfortable. Game drives very sedate but with beautiful views. Beach very natural and deserted - need to be taken in truck. Beach picnic is actually a proper laid out lunch. We are pescatarian but didn’t always get the pescatarian menu without prompting. Few vegetables actually served but I asked for side vegetables and they were delicious.

This is a hidden gem of the Eastern Cape. It offers both the beach and wildlife, a rare combination overall. I stayed in the Ocean Suite which offered a 180 degrees of seaview from the balcony. The rooms are quite spacious and beautifully pointed. Staff offered a great service and are always attentive to guests. My experience exceeded my expectation and I would highly recommend this resort.
