Great value for money, the two apartments that we had were great, gave us the space we needed for our trip. Great amenities, having our own washing machine meant I was able to return home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. Relaxing around the pool after a busy day was the perfect way to relax and cool down.

excellent room , very clean and well appointed. close to the beach and shopping. we had a 1 bedroom unit and it had everything that we needed. we will be back at this resort as it was just what we were hoping for. great pool and plenty of parking the resort had lovely gardens and well maintained with 2 pools and a bonus kids pool.

Best place to stay in Port Douglas for an apartment. Spotlessly clean and all amenities worked. Only 5 mins from 4 mile beach and a 10 min walk into centre of town . We arrived after hours and key was waiting for us as promised, Apartment air on was on which was brilliant as it was pretty warm outside … Thoroughly recommended Dave Clarke

This is a fantastic place to spend your holidays in Port Douglas. It's been our second stay at Beach Terraces and we'll be back again. The apartments are very spacious and well maintained. They have everything you need to have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. There are three pools within the premises, all with warm water. The property is one block away from the beach, and only a few minutes walk from the start of Macrossan street, which is the main street filled with shops and restaurants. The owners are always happy to help. Overall great place for families.

The location was great, the facilities were lacking some real basic items such as even a spare rubbish bag or tissues. Reception is never manned so although items are easy enough to get (like a beach towel) you have to leave a message and wait for someone to call you back. We were advised (twice) that the cot had a matress however it didn't and we arrived outside of reception hours by a few mins so had to come up with a plan b for our little one. Maintenence noise with a jack hammer and no communication from reception about it. Again not ideal with a 2yo who has a mid day nap. Would be OK as a couple as these things are easy enough to deal with however I would never recommend this place to a family, it's made our holiday a lot more stressful than needed.

We have been visiting Port Douglas for more than 20 years now, almost every year. Each time we stay at the Beach Terraces. It is a lovely friendly place and so very convenient because it is close to the beach and within easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops. The apartments are situated in a lovely green shady environment and spending time on the balcony is a joy. The place is very clean and well cared for by the managers George and Treveen who will also help with any excursion arrangements. The apartments have been updated over the years and are very comfortable. We enjoy our stay every year and always look forward to visiting Diantree rainforest, Mosman Gorge and the Tablelands in the interior.

Apartment was spacious, clean and a cool respite after a day or sightseeing. Very conveniently located to the beach, shops and resteraunts. The pools were relaxing and a good place to have a quiet drink before heading out for the evening. We loved our stay.

A great location and facilities. Every need was catered for with 3 pools and a large BBQ area. The rooms were well equipped with lots of storage, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. A fantastic place to stay if you would like to be near the beach.
