I am so saddened at what used to be a top notch restaurant in Port Elizabeth! The Old timer Mgr needs to retire (sincerely hope he is not the owner!). The cook (cause she is definitely not a chef) send our food out without the prawns. After enquiry we're told she has run out of prawns and couldn't fill both platters! Who runs out of prawns in a seafood restaurant on a Sunday and you still have a dinner service to go!? Please don't come with BS excuses either! The cook came and apologized for the prawns not being seasoned as she had a patron who disliked seasoned prawns so she thought we wouldn't either - they were just parboiled and served like that. On leaving, the mgr couldn't even lift his head to acknowledge our patronage! Honestly, this family should get out of the game, PATHETIC! I will never refer any clients to them ever again!

We booked to stay at this hotel and got a written confirmation. A few days prior I wrote to them and said we would be settling the bill in full before arrival. I got a response from Tim the Manager that they were full and couldnt accommodate me. I called and asked where they clause was they would cancel my booking if I didnt pay a deposit and they acknowledged it was left out of the mail. Why didnt they just call me or ask for payment I would have gladly obliged. Tim didnt care, was rude and I will never stay there ever and will advise my P E friends too. Disappointing hospitality !
