We had a delightful and lovely stay at the Coral Reef Club, from the time that we arrived until the time that we left. the caliber of service was amazing! Everyone is so friendly and attentive. We were so surprised when we checked in. Our flight was later in the day, and it was about 11:15pm when we arrived. We were greeted with, "We thought you might be hungry and left refreshments in your room." We were and were so appreciative of the delicious sandwiches! When we left, one of the breakfast servers said, "I know this is your favorite table and reserved it for you!" How extraordinary thoughtful! Our stay included breakfast, which was wonderful every morning. In addition to the buffet with eggs, sausage, bacon, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc., it includes a made-to-order station of fresh omelets, waffles, and French toast. The morning standard coffee is French-press Lavazza! Unlike other resorts that we have stayed at, there was plenty of seating and we could choose where we sat. Because the resort is located on the west coast, the sunsets from the lounge were stunning and it was a great place to relax at the end of the day. The resort does not have many ocean view rooms; however, the entire property is a stunning tropical garden. Our room had a huge balcony with a beautiful view of the grounds. The room was comfortable. The hotel has an excellent location. After touring the island, we found that Holetown is one of the best places to stay with excellent restaurants and shopping. The hotel is located two properties away along the coast from Folkstone Marine Park which has one of the best reefs on the island. Guests at the resort are very friendly and delightful. Given that Barbados is part of the British Commonwealth, most of the guests are British. Many have stayed at the resort previously multiple times and even together year-after-year. But of course, why would one consider staying elsewhere when you can stay here? We would love to stay here again on a return trip to Barbados.

Very nice and excellent customer service! Great food and an excellent breakfast! The beach was washed away by the hurricane, but the manager did offer a 20% off the regular rate to help. Whoever you stay in Barbados be sure to call before you book to see if they still have a beach! It’s too far to travel to sit out by the pool.

Coral Reef provided the perfect 5 star experience. The hotel is in keeping with the old colonial style and provides a luxurious experience. All of the staff add to the overall experience and provide just the right level of service and hospitality.

My wife and I went to the Coral Reef Club for 10 days on 10/6/24 to celebrate 50 years of marriage. We could not have picked a better holiday. The Hotel was stunning. Our room had fantastic views of the beautiful gardens, from where we could view the troupe of wild monkeys the in habit this space. The room itself was very spacious and had everything we could possibly want. We had booked half board and thoroughly enjoyed every meal in the restaurant, which was beautifully situated to give the best views of and bring you as close as possible to the beach and sea. I particularly enjoyed breakfast because of the location and views, and of course the food, and would happily have sat here all morning. ( Special thanks to Shelly-Anne and Deborah). The beach was stunning and the sea was warm. We enjoyed relaxing on the padded loungers. The beach butlers were very attentive, bringing fresh towels and jugs of iced water and always had time for a chat. ( Special thanks the Sheldon and Anthony). The hotel is very close to Hometown and is kept to the highest standard and I cannot fault our stay in any way. I would like to thank Mrs O'Hara (owner) for her very kind invitation to a cocktail party at her home on both Monday evenings during our stay. Mrs O'Hara also took the time to sit and chat to us when we spoke to her on one evening in the restaurant bar. While I have mention some staff by name, I would like to thank all members of staff at the Coral Reef for the fantastic service and for making us feel so welcome during our stay which is, without a doubt, one of our most enjoyable holidays ever.

Where do I start…….. Our daughter got married here on 12th December. Mark greeted us was truly welcoming From start to finish at this magical hotel it was first class, unassuming and unpretentious. The wedding was beautiful, had a steel band in the courtyard then a wonderful meal in another part of the hotel, in fact part of the owners house, very private, staff were amazing. The food and drinks were superb. A family of monkeys passing our suite! Spotlessly clean, decor stunning. The newly weds went off to Antigua for their honeymoon easy to do! then back with us in beautiful Barbados Thank you all at Coral Reef Club for making such a memorable wedding, we will certainly be back.

From our first contact to book our room back in January 2024 to checking out 11 months later, everything about our 7 night stay was handled very promptly and professionally. We asked for a first floor room and ‘Jasmine’ was perfect in every way. A large, well serviced bedroom and a lovely balcony, with views across the beautiful gardens. There was never an issue over sun beds and the beach butlers were very attentive. Many are on the grassed area immediately behind the beach, which suited us fine. We enjoyed our breakfast in the lovely restaurant and especially the hard working ladies at the ‘egg station’. Fantastic sea views to enjoy along with the food. We dined there for 5 nights of our stay and enjoyed each meal, including the BBQ buffet. The dessert menu is however too repetitive. The overall ambiance is, as many other guests have noted, very friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate to be invited to cocktails/canapes with the O’Hara family. A fascinating insight into the history of the Island and its people. Go and enjoy.

My 3rd or 4th visit to Coral Reef, and as usual, a good standard. Sadly the beach had been eroded away by the summer storms. And my favourite, the floating pontoon which was in front of the adjacent Colony Club was gone. I did not stay as long as expected, as issues in the Middle East required me to to leave. I will be back .. thank you Coral Reef.

Arrived in Barbados at this beautiful hotel on my birthday with a welcome drink. I had asked before our trip if an Ocean view room could be reserved and although this could not be guaranteed, this is what we got, amazing view of the Barbados Ocean. All Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and always had a smile on their face considering the extreme heat they work in. The owner is onsite and visible and the weekly cocktail gathering for residents is very thoughtful. Food amazing, Staff amazing, hotel amazing, on our last day it felt like we were leaving home. Keep up the hard work and a big thank you to you all.
