Modern, clean apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had daily cleaning of the apartment ”exchange of bath towels, cleaning of counters, floors and garbage collection. Some aspects that could improve, It has no magic wand, toaster, sponges and dishwashing liquid.

This hotel is very recent. Beautiful, elegant and well-equipped in terms of services. What doesn't strike us as normal, however, is the lack of little touches for a hotel in this category. No shampoo, no q-tips, just the same gel for washing hands and in the shower. No shower cap. An empty fridge bar. We appreciate the coffee machine and the bottle of water, but one normal coffee capsule and 3 decaffeinated coffee capsules... not logical... We asked for a room with a bath when we booked (we were ”upgraded” without any request on our part, on a ”marina” view, but with a shower. As we are not very nice customers, we didn't say anything. The bedding is good. The pillows are quite thick, which can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive necks. 3 cushions are available, but they are all very dense. The road is very noisy, subject to a few car rodeos at night. I've heard that the rooftop is noisy in November, but fortunately this is not the case. The staff are friendly and respond to requests. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive, but for the evening menu, this type of buffet seems less attractive, but will surely please some people. The spa is very good, at 12.5 euros for one hour (equipped swimming pool, sauna, hammam, etc.). There is a car park at the hotel for 6 euros a night, but free parking is available 200m from the hotel by the beach. All in all, then, this is a fine hotel with a lot of potential, but some details clearly need to be reviewed to make it really nice.

Wonderful This is our 2nd time staying at Turim and it was perfect like the last time Staff on check in extremely friendly. We didn’t book breakfast or dinner there we went out to eat but we had breakfast last time and it was lovely The room was extremely clean on the 4th floor with a sea view and pool view plenty of toiletries shampoo shower gel conditioner and body lotion so you don’t have to bring your own towels were provided for the pool area which is great again you don’t have to bring your own 😊 The pool area is lovely however there are not enough sun beds really …we never had a problem getting one at 10am but any later and people weee walking away this is the only negative (so Turim provide more beds by the pool) Over all I would definitely return for a 3rd time

The whole hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job servicing our apartments each day. The bed and bedding were all great quality and we slept well. The shower tray in the main bathroom did not drain well at all and would often fill up so it was a race to see if I could finish my shower before it overflowed 😂 the balcony is spacious with a table and chairs, plus sun loungers. Our main problem was the lack of entertainment, there isn't much to do locally. We asked staff if there was anything near by and we were just told 'the beach' they failed to mention the little row of restaurants and bars at the back of the hotel just outside the gate near to the pool. The restaurant and bar on site was incredibly quiet but it was end of season. None of the games facilities for the kids worked and neither did the vending machine. Pedro and Sasha were our servers and were very attentive and friendly. A lot of the staff around the resort didn't even acknowledge us which I found very strange. The lady on reception was very well informed whenever I asked questions on the best way to get anywhere. We visited Alvore which is a lovely little place with a marina and some fresh fish restaurants and also we visited Zoomarine which my kids loved, definitely worth a visit. They operate a shuttle bus which I believe you can book through the app. We chose to go via uber and it was around €25-28 each way. You can take snacks and your own drinks however there's lot of places to purchase when inside. There was one night when it sounded like people were in the pool until after 1am. The sound echoes and despite being in an apartment at the front, I could hear it clearly in my bedroom at the back. It didn't bother me too much but it was quite loud and I didn't hear anyone intervene. The main pool is very deep, even at its shallowest it is 1.45m...at its deepest it is 2.5. As a non swimmer I chose not to go in as I'm only conformable when I can stand up. My kids loved it, although there is no life guard on site, my kids are confident swimmers. The beaches and cliffs are stunning. The sound of the waves crashing each night is so peaceful to fall to sleep to and whilst our apartment was a land view apartment, our bedroom doors looked out over the ocean. The pool bar is advertised as being open until October 31st but was not open at all during our stay and no explanation as to why. The mini market I found some things quite pricey and not much choice, we used uber Eats often. The shop closes between 1-3 and then at 8pm. On Sundays it closes at 6pm. I feel that this hotel could be much more than it is, with some entertainment and a little more attention paid to the customer experience it could be exceptional. Having said that, we had a pleasant, restful stay in a beautiful country and we're fortunate to have great weather.

Staff very friendly and always available. The rooms immaculate, comfy beds. Restaurant was excellent with a very good variety of food and not repeated in our 2 week holiday. Communal areas very bright and airy and plenty of space. Pool area was great. This was our second visit and we were a bit worried it may not be as good as before, however we would totally recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

The room is very spacious, the environment is good, very close to the beach, it feels ridiculous that we booked a big bed room to stay for two people is normal, but the hotel said to add money, because we ordered a person, and finally was pitted 50 euros, although breakfast was sent, But I still feel uncomfortable. The room we booked is not a bed. What is the difference between living alone and living two people? In addition, the breakfast was very perfunctory and there was basically nothing to eat.

We arrived around 3 p.m. and the person at the reception couldn't find our reservation made through Trip.com. With a lot of anger and insistence he told us that he couldn't do anything and that we had to contact Trip.com to solve the thing with them (after 9 hours of travel and all the possible confirmation emails). While I was waiting for Trip.com to respond to us, another person called us saying that everything was in order, that they couldn't find it due to a ”computer error.” Not an apology, nothing. The room was not bad, second floor, well located. Old hotel facility, the 5 stars are not deserved, honestly, it is a current 4 star, for the price paid it is fine. Good buffet breakfast, equally good and attentive service. We had a problem one day when they didn't make the room, we had to complain at 7:30 p.m. and they cleaned it and made it very quickly (and quite ”lightly”), but, well... We cannot comment on SPA, Gym etc since we have not tried those services.

Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!

A truly great experience!! Room was comfortable and housekeeping excellent. Well placed with a view of the Marina. The highlight of each morning of my 5 night stay was the Breakfast. Fantastic choice and everything well cooked and presented. The staff, particularly the trainees, were always friendly and obliging. I couldn't fault anything about the Breakfast at all. The situation of the Hotel was ideal for me but might not suit everyone as it was sited out of the Town. A beautiful beach was adjacent to the Hotel and even out of season there were a variety of Restaurants nearby. All staff, the Receptionists, Restaurant staff and Housekeeping were outstanding, always greeted me with a smile and very helpful.
