It’s an old hotel…, in downtown.
It’s close to Apple store.., like 10-15 minutes walking.
Good room.., I got a Studio King suite.
No problems with the elevators..
Very good breakfast.. (tasty omelet).
There are some beggars sleeping (inhabiting) the sidewalks around the hotel.
I’d stay again..!!

Marriott Courtyard is centrally located in downtown Portland. It's clean, affordable, has a great gym and the front desk was professional. It's a little dated, but this is an excellent 3-star hotel and I would stay there anytime.

The room was fairly clean, and the salmon salad on the first floor of the hotel was superb. The surrounding area of the hotel is not satisfactory, there is a homeless problem throughout downtown Portland, but the problem is serious in the neighborhood where the hotel is located.

The hotel is newly renovated and clean. It is located in the center of Portland, with a good location and complete surrounding businesses. However, the room is small and there is no parking garage, so parking is inconvenient.

I didn’t feel this hotel was worth the price tag. It was clean, nicely designed, and located downtown but they charge an extra $50 each night for services, don’t provide free Wi-Fi (unless you sign up for some kind of Hilton membership), and do not include parking. Also, that area is a business district. The East side of Portland is a more fun area to be based. The gym and pool were alright. Well-equipped but rather small.
I’d recommend shopping around better deals on the east side of the river.

The hotel is in a great location and is very convenient for travel. The room is also very comfortable, the design is very exquisite and practical, and the view outside the window is invincible. The service of the girls at the front desk and the restaurant is very good.

The facilities are relatively old, the room is relatively large, the bed is 1.5 meters, and luggage storage is free. For breakfast, you can buy a buffet including tea and coffee for 21 US dollars. You can also order a customized breakfast for more than 10 yuan. It is convenient to travel. It is a few minutes walk from the red, green and blue line tram station and 30 minutes from the red line to the airport. It costs 2.8 US dollars per person. It is very convenient and nearby. There are convenience stores such as Starbucks, coffee, McDonald's and burger restaurants. You can enter by swiping your room card at the hotel door and it feels very safe. There are many fewer homeless people in Portland. The streets are clean and tidy, which is much better than before.

Outstanding
GGuest UserMy husband, 2 sons and I stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station recently while in Portland visiting our daughter. The location worked out very well for us and everyone enjoyed the breakfast. The first night, our bathroom door squeaked when we got up in the middle of the night to use the facilities waking others in the room. I talked to the front desk in the morning and they came in and gave it some oil which worked perfectly to silence it during the night. Very much appreciated! The beds seemed smaller than normal queen sized beds but we had no way of verifying that. Luckily there was a pull out sofa in our room so one of our sons slept on that after the first night. The bed did seem smaller than our queen at home to my husband and me as well.
GGuest UserThe place was great but when I got there, the guy working started saying stuff like “ it’s quiet around here”, “Your not trying to party are you?” Then starts saying people have been coming there lately trying to do so, I assumed he stayed these things because I am
A AA woman. I reminded him of my age (while he’s holding my I.D btw) he then goes to tell me I have to pay a $200 deposit. Which I was told before booking the room was $50. So this brings me back to my race, this is being told to me AFTER i just spent nearly $200 just to get the room. So I am behind upset.
JJudymorningLobby and room look amazing. Elevators fast and don’t have to wait too long. The staff are friendly but we asked for laundry bags but waited for so long at least 40 minutes. Breakfast area is good and food was ok. But not that many options to eat. Location is great! So close to downtown. Parking fee I think is 39-40? It was ok but still don’t get it why we need to pay for parking fee when you stay in the hotel( but I guess most of hotels are like that) I wish they had paper slippers in the room.
GGuest UserWe fly in from Hawaii, our flight delayed 3 hours, so we arrived at the hotel at 4am, the girl at the counter was walking towards outside and saw us entering the hotel with luggages without saying a word, we thought she was stepped out just a bit, and waited in the lobby, but she disappeared! There was another man in the lobby he tried to help us find her however no luck.
We were so very tired and waited in the lobby for half an hour, she finally came in and gave us the key of the room, it only took like 2 minutes.
If it were that simple, why not just handed the key to us upon our arrival, we tried to make phone calls, but the phone rang right in front of us in the counter with nobody inside, it's very very very frustrated.
LlusongshiWe stayed here for three nights. The design of the hotel is simple and simple like a studio. The room is more spacious and the bed is comfortable. The surrounding environment is also good to the city center. There was some problem with the lighting of the room, and the cabinet placed in the coffee machine was almost invisible. Although there are windows that can't be opened, it wastes natural air and does not meet the environmental protection concept emphasized by the hotel itself. Because it is probably a new hotel, the air circulation is not good, some taste (still acceptable)
JJoAnna McDonnellLet me start with cudos for Elizabeth at the front desk. I'd say she did everything in her control to make my stay excellent. GREAT customer service there. The van driver, however, made me feel unimportant. What????? We have to turn the van back around to return to the hotel to pick up a pilot? Even though you were late in picking me up and nearly making me late for my own connection? GACK!
I'd say the company puts a lot of money into the lobby and the exterior. Sadly, once you step off the elevator, everything is a little shabby, torn and run-down. Perfect to lure in the traveler who won't be coming back.
AAdam ValentinerI would describe this as a hipster hotel with unique character to match the downtown area. My teenage kids did like the room and the adjacent coffee shop. However, I felt the room was a little small, especially the bathroom and the room could use some updating like more amenities like towel racks and storage for suitcases. Our room was not close to being recently remodeled so pictures can be a little deceiving. Bed was comfortable but I could hear people walking around above our room at night. I also struggled with parking found it very stressful trying to find parking, plan to spend around $40 a day on parking a day if you are driving around a lot. The overnight parking which is approx 10-15 minutes away walking distance is not on site and is only $20 a night, but it does not feel safe after 10pm to be walking around due to the homeless problem in the area. I don't think I will be returning to this hotel. I def don't feel like this was a 3 star hotel, I would give it a 2.5 out of 4 or 5 stars. The breakfast was a continental at best. Pastries with juice or coffee and fruit. Sometimes they provided yogurt or boxed oatmeal and oat milk but nothing special and get there before 9 am or there may run out of items. Portland has a lot of fun things to see but because of the homeless problem I would seek out recommendations for the best attractions and stir clear of the problem areas. Washington park and art museum were a lot of fun to visit. Multnomah Falls would be an all day trip and get there very early since parking is terrible or park off site and take tram in. I was also charged an additional fee of $25 a night which was not mentioned anywhere on the trip.com booking receipt.
SShelley ResnickWe got there super late coming in from delayed flight from JFK one night! We’d been cruising Mediterranean for 15 days and had already flown for 17 hours. I had a late check-in Standard room booked for my Sister and I who badly overpacked and had 5 heavy suitcases of various sizes. I chose Holiday Inn @ PDX as it was close by the Airport AND offered shuttle service! With the help of the Shuttle driver we managed to load everything but our carry-on luggage on the cart. Checked in and were given the key to our room on the 2nd Floor. Laboriously we made our way up to 2, managed to get our suitcases outta the elevator with the fast closing door and made it to our assigned room only to discover that the “key” didn’t work—no amount of re-insertion would convince it to, either; so my Sis went back down to the check-in desk and was given a key to a Suite on the 3rd Floor!
We made our way up to that suite of rooms and were greeted with an exquisitely dark & dreary mostly dark brown but well appointed two room Suite. The rooms were clean, but the Holiday Inn in th location if VERY OLD, and they’ve done y their best to offer amenities to accommodate and make up for the aged old place. The Coffee Maker didn’t work, but everything else seemed to. The King Bed was super comfortable but the carpeting is old and unraveling and the living-room wall heater burned its way through a travel bag that help my brand new never worn Natica Puffy Jacket and the carrying bag! Didn’t know it was even on. Good place to crash for a night or two, but no longer. Bed was super!!
郝郝珈霏The facilities are a bit old, but the location is good, not far from the highway, easy to rest during long-distance travel, the parking lot is large, no charge. There are several American fast food restaurants around, easy to eat.
NNatalieIt was a great time to relax after long day at work, didn't want to drive 20 miles back home. I stayed here and the staff were great, and when my TV didn't work they sent a nice lady to help you (only had to wait 10 minutes). Enough parking spaces to choose and still hear if car alarm goes off, for those who like knowing your jeep is safe! Thank you again! God bless
