Our stay at Hotel Pitrizza has been exceptional! With only two more days left, we know we will be sad to leave. We booked a renovated room (Deluxe Sea View) and it has exceeded our expectations. The service throughout the resort is stellar and considerate, and fully supports the five star rating. For those that have complained about cost, I find that interesting since there is access to all information about expense before arriving. We have been fortunate to stay at other five star resorts (La Samanna, Cap Juluca, Rocco Forte hotels, etc) and cost at those locations is on a par with what we are experiencing in Sardinia, so we were prepared. Hotel Pitrizza's old world charm, renovations and most importantly the wonderful staff puts this resort at the top of all we have stayed at. We hope to be back in the years to come, but for sure this has been one of our most memorable trips.

what do you say about an icon ? while the property is due to be refreshed this winter, it's still a gem..... understated in all the best ways -- you feel as special as the many guests who have been staying there for decades..... wonderful and kind staff -- everyone on top of what you need -- whenever that is.....

A truly wonderful stay at Pitrizza. From arrival we were greeted with warm smiles and professionalism. The room was spotless, elegant and full of Sardinian charm. Breakfast was outstanding and the beach service was flawless. The concierge team made every detail of our Costa Smeralda visit seamless.

Disappointed... breakfast with packaged, industrialized products, few cheese options, breakfast like a 3-star hotel perhaps... insects in the rooms, ants and spiders, bees and flies... get used to it, you'll have to live with these little friends!!! Old facilities, URGENTLY in need of renovation!!! Friendly staff and beautiful views. In case of bad weather you won't have anything to do, because the hotel offers NO entertainment and no spa worthy of a 5-star hotel, only massages and a gym! Hotel that has stopped in time!!! If you want a vacation with a good breakfast and to enjoy the hotel, don't come!!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights in a premium room and we still had a decent view from our room. We had a small patio with lounge chairs in the back. We loved that we were welcomed with sparkling wine, such a nice treat! Our closet was very spacious,the bathroom was spacious with double vanity, bathtub, etc. We were pleased to get turned down service every night. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, so many choices. The beach was a bit grainy but swimmable. Not a bad spot to lay down by the pool or the beach. The lunch was fantastic as well. I had an amazing massage at the spa, which by the way it is quite small. The gyms is a good size for this place, with half of the workout machines outside and some inside. This place it is a short drive to Porto Cervo, which is where you might want to go to dine and shop. I do agree with some reviewers about the fact that this property needs some upkeep and renovations in general.
