This weekend I went to the hotel where the pool was supposed to be under maintenance/construction and they told me that I could enter after we were already in the water, after about 2 minutes a man came running to say: Oh, if it's burning your eyes or skin, go fast to the recession and complain. After a while I looked at my wrist and realized that it was very dark. THE WATER IN THE POOL WAS COMPLETELY GREEN. Inside the pool they must have poured some Abrasive product that damaged the shine of my pandoras and now the hotel does not want to be responsible. Hotel without any skills. On top of that, they are rude. I DON'T ADVISE TO GO HORRIBLE

Bad service, they don't want to be responsible for danus caused by the hotel itself, bad service. IT HAS NO COMPETENCE TO RECEIVE PEOPLE IT DOES NOT HAVE THE SERVICES THAT THE SITE INDICATES THE ROOM COULDN'T EVEN OPEN THE BEDROOM WINDOW DUE TO THE WIND THE BATHROOM CEILING FLEW OFF. I COULDN'T ENJOY IT BECAUSE THE HOTEL HAS NO RESPONSIBILITIES WHATSOEVER Horrible

A lovely peaceful hotel in the centre of the resort. The staff on reception were always friendly and very helpful. Checkin was quick. The rooms are clean and fresh with a nice design. The rooms are very peaceful so you can sleep well. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, the fruit salad was fresh and tasty. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to others. Great place.

Our room at the Euro Moniz was just ok. We had two different mattress in our bed. Safe was broken and all lookes a bit old and over used. There is an indoor pool in the underground floor wich shares a big window with the hotel garage, it wasn’t very inviting. On the top there is a bar with self service, the view was really nice from up there. The breakfast is a bouffet with different option but nothing more than ok, the coffee was really not good. Finally it can be a good option in the area but I expected a bit more from a 3 stars hotel.

We found the staff at the hotel extremely helpful - from the front desk to the dining room - and very quick to find a solution to an issue. The free wifi is excellent. Breakfast is international buffet style. Our room was massive with a Scandinavian style of furnishing. In-room tea and coffee is provided. The underground car park is very tight and cannot take many vehicles - only for small cars really....BUT the hotel has land behind the hotel which is used as a car park - lots of space.

Generally a good choice in Porto Moniz. Location is great and if you have a sea facing room, the views are lovely. The hotel is clean, tidy, neutrally but quite tastefully decorated and has many plus points. There is an ‘honesty ‘ bar on the roof terrace which is peaceful and quiet - a rather under utilised area by the hotel I think. I found the bed agonisingly hard and agree with other reviews that the shower (which was good) ran hot and cold rather unpredictably. There is currently no air conditioning although you can open the windows and balcony doors. Apparently they are installing air con next year. Definitely a good place to stay.

Everything was great: very nice staff at reception, clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast, nice bar at the top floor with fair prices and a terrace with great views, the location is great, we got extra towels at check-in for the swimming, there would even be an indoor pool which we did not use (we were only in the natural rock pools - go there early in the morning or late afternoon when the tour groups have left). The warm part of the breakfast (sausages, bacon etc) was not of the best quality, but it did not matter, there were enough nice things to chose from. Maybe a couple of coat hooks in the room would be good and some more sockets.
