Torre a Mare Porto Venere

Unfortunately, my experience at Porto Venere and the hotel connected to it was disappointing in many ways. When I arrived at the hotel, I had to wait an inordinate amount of time to check in, despite the time clearly indicated on the website. The person in charge of check-in was not present, and I had to wait for someone to come and open the door for me, which made the beginning of my stay very frustrating. The room was definitely uncomfortable. To access it, you have to climb a lot of stairs, which is not practical with luggage. Once we arrived, we found the room full of ants and the shower was incredibly small, making it extremely uncomfortable to use. The space in general was very, very narrow. As for the restaurant, 3 torri, the experience was even worse. An insect appeared on my plate, but despite this unpleasant incident, I was not offered any discount or adequate solution. Furthermore, the dishes I had ordered arrived late, and the service overall was slow and unprofessional. We had to wait a long time, and the quality of attention was really poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone, neither to stay nor to dine. A big disappointment.

Sul loro sito si legge che le camere 'aspirano ad alti standard qualitativi' ed in effetti ne hanno ancora per arrivarci. La posizione è magnifica, nulla da dire, è sui servizi che mancano. Materasso mollissimo, erano anni che non ne trovavo così. Sono finiti i prodotti della linea di cortesia (peraltro molto buoni), ma non li hanno sostituiti. Meno male che avevamo i nostri. Gli accappatoi non li hanno mai cambiati. Doveva esserci una bottiglia d'acqua ogni giorno, ma l'abbiamo trovata solo una volta. Nulla di grave, ma non siamo ai livelli a cui aspirano e per i quali si fanno pagare. La proprietaria l'abbiamo vista all'arrivo e poi più. È stato fatto l'addebito sulla carta di credito senza avvertire, almeno la cortesia di dirlo prima, visto l'aspirazione agli alti standard. Un'ultima indicazione: sul sito non è scritto, ma la struttura non è adatta se non puoi farti da solo la scale (ci sta in una struttura d'epoca, ma potrebbe essere indicato). Si può migliorare, la struttura e la posizione lo meritano.
