A little farther away, there is a Chinese restaurant Panda that specializes in take away, which is actually quite affordable. The Chinese restaurant next to the homestay is average. 3. For sky island tourism, if you only live in one place, Portree is the best place.

The environment is beautiful, located by the lake, the service is first-class, the hotel is very cost-effective, the Scottish sister-in-law in the restaurant can tell jokes, the cooking skills are first-class, pure Scottish cuisine, and the main dish is recommended for the main dish, Scotch lamb shank.

The staff were really nice. The room was clean and nicely designed. I especially like the breakfast they offered. Very tasty with great views!

If you do not need luxury and just want the basics and a safe place to sleep, you'll be fine at Jurriaan's place. It is small and each room is down the same hallway. All the very basic-ness aside, Jurriaan was very nice, kind and accommodating. I Whatsapp'd him my preferred breakfast juice (got the opposite each day) and time and he rolled his cart down with my selections. You bring your tray inside, dine, and then back on the cart later.

Value for money. Helcninbwas smooth, apartment was great.

Lovely cottage with sea views. Location was a short walk from An Corran beach and the dinosaur footprints. Living space small but adequate giving a quaint feel. Access to front door was via a few steps. Great for couples, or a family with two small childr
