The lack of proper curtains meant little privacy in the evenings when you are visible from the street in all directions in the evenings. This also a stairs-only location and you have to lug your luggages up a spiral staircase which, if you have elderly persons with you as I did, isn't advisable. The toilet is extremely small and the sink area in the shower is also limited. Washing up was difficult. The catered breakfast was great. There isn't any dishwasher so washing up has to be done by hand.
Google Maps can lead you to the wrong place off a cliff in darkness so be careful!

Air conditioning was not available. The room was way too warm. The bed was not comfortable. No plates to warm any food. Water was pre-filled in the coffee-maker, not very hygienic. Disappointing experience. I cannot recommend. Such a waste of money.

We stayed for one night in this nice hotel. Everything was new and super clean. Nice beds. If you want breakfast, they will deliver that in to your room (there is fridge and coffee machine+tea kettle), sandwich, youghurt, croissant,juice, fruits... We stayed there at the wine festival time and couldn't get a taxi, so the owner was nice and drove us to the centre!!! Hotel is situated on a very peaceful area, no noice, so you get a good night sleep. During the summer time the rooms are quite hot, but there are fans in the rooms

Hotel which does not have a reception but a person welcomes you during limited hours. Room and bathroom quite small. Breakfast is left in the room the day before (fridge, coffee maker, kettle available) but it is not excellent apart from the yogurt (tasteless ham and cheese sandwich, croissant in plastic, cereals but not enough milk, unripe hard fruit ) Comfortable beds. Play area for children. Bike rental 12 km from the center of Porvoo.
