Amazing experience. Roberto, Francesco and Sylvia made us feel like family. The place is immaculate and every detail is first class. No details were missed. They surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room on our anniversary. The views are amazing. The breakfast is the best you will find anywhere in Italy. Cake of the day and yogurt that was incredible. They arranged dinner reservations, taxi rides and even recommended restaurants that would pick us up and drive us back after dinner. I cannot say enough about La Barbera. We have been to many 5 star hotels and this one beats them all. Can't wait to return again in the future. Do not hesitate. Book La Barbera for your trip to the Amalfi Coast. You will not regret it. The area (Praiano) is beautiful and not as crazy busy as positano but is just a short taxi ride away if you want to spend the day shopping or dining. My wife and I traveled to Italy for our Honeymoon in August of 2024. We spent two weeks traveling through Florence/Tuscany, the Italian Riviera, and the Amalfi Coast. We stayed in 5 or 6 different hotels during our two week trip. We truly did not cut any corners on this trip and while the entire trip was beautiful, and we loved everywhere we stayed, nothing compared to our stay at La Barbera. We had never experienced such gracious, friendly, and professional hotel staff before. The Amalfi Coast in August is extremely hot but the staff made sure to help us with our luggage and offer us a welcome drink of our choice (we both chose the freshly squeezed lemonade). We had booked one of the hotel rooms without a hot tub as the hot tub rooms were a bit pricier. We were brought up to our room to find that the staff surprised us with one of the rooms with a hot tub! They also left us flowers and a handwritten note. I could go on and on about this place, the staff, the views, the BREAKFAST. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, and the entire team at La Barbera. We will be back!

I can't rate this place highly enough. Staff are fantastic. Rooms immaculate. Food delicious. They went out of their way to help make our experience amazing (surprise room upgrade, free taxi, welcome and goodbye gifts). This is the best place to explore the Amalfi Coast as it's really central. I highly recommend you book here!

We chose to stay at La Barbera whilst we were travelling with friends for a wedding. It truly made the weekend and was beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough fro you from making breakfast memorable, to helping plan travel or advising on local spots to view. Would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again. Praiano is a more remote village up the road from Positano, yet you still get the breathtaking views, whether from your hot tub on your balcony or during breakfast on the terrace. 10/10 for La Barbera.

The most amazing B&B on earth! Everything was perfect and the staff incredibly responsive and pleasant. I was even picked up from a restaurant by Roberto since I had a bad back. The view is breathtaking, breakfast bettern than a five star hotel and the room like a palace. Thanks a million and hope to see you soon!

We were so impressed with La Barbera, our stay here was faultless. Such a beautiful place with unbelievable views and tons of character. The whole place was spotless but full of Italian charm. The staff here were great and so helpful, nothing was ever too much effort for them. Offered us great advice about places to eat, visit and booking taxis etc. even though we had planned a lot of stuff in advance. They made us feel so welcome. Food was delicious as well, all freshly made with plenty of choice. What better place to enjoy it as well, sat on the terrace in the morning sun looking over the beautiful Positano. Overall our stay here and in Praiano was amazing and the perfect way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

A stay at La Barbera is a most beautiful experience. From the carefully curated, authentic Amalfi decor to the spectacular views, it is an artistic and calming environment. The staff is fully dedicated to providing comfort and lovely amenities.

I cannot express just how incredible this place truly is!!!! I feel as though I died and went to heaven!!!! My husband and I are here for our 35th wedding anniversary. Not only is La Barbera stunningly beautiful, but Sylvia, Francesco and Roberto (2 brothers who own it) are so incredibly nice and helpful. They make u feel like your family from the start! It’s our first day here and we are so happy that we chose this bed and breakfast to stay at! It’s going to be hard to leave! The attention to detail, the cleanliness and the sheer beauty is truly remarkable. We will definitely be back, but we will enjoy the next 5 days first:) The pictures are one thing, but in real life, your breath will be taken away! So grateful and appreciative to be staying here! If you are in the area, this is a MUST! Definitely at the top of my list and I have been to some amazing places. You won’t regret it! GO!

This was by far our favorite place we stayed while on our honeymoon. La Barbera treats you like family from the second you arrive and is simply perfection. It is so so so beautiful there, from the decor to the views, and they have thought of everything to make their guests’ stays perfect. The breakfast was incredible (try the yogurt!!) and the staff amazing. They had great recommendations for us and treat their guests so well. The location is perfect and Praiano is such a charming town. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay— we will absolutely be back!!! Can’t say enough good things about this b&b— highly highly recommend!!!
