Best option for us. Self catering villas, sunbeds, your own small pool and supermarket, ATM, bank, bus stop, boutique, tour offices and local food in short distance. BUT the best of all is HAZEL with her FAMILY - very very helpful !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, you make our trip very special 😘

Great bungalows which give privacy to everyone. Size of the bungalows is perfect with a bedroom, nice bathroom and living. Additionally a wonderful veranda. Our children loved to play on the veranda or swim in the small pool! Highly recommended.

Heliconia Grove is a great place, also because of Hazel, the manager, and her team! Hazel is very welcoming, always smiling and pulled strings to make our holiday truly memorable! She even managed to Organise a birthday cake for our little daughter within two hours. Her team is also friendly and helpful, they showed the kids how to open coconuts and explained about the island. The location is great, beachfront, you see and hear the sea from every room (villa no 7). Shops and restaurants within a short walk on the beach (take a torch with you, walking on the beach in the evening is nicer then along the road, and it is safe!). Kayaks are for free and great fun. We would suggest two improvements: better lights on the terrace and more space for the turtles! They are quite hidden in a corner of the garden, we felt a bit pity for them, and it would also be more attractive for the guests if they could come closer to the footpath behind the villas. Thank you Hazel and your team - we will be back!

Everying was just great! Οn the best location,close to the beach, spacious, beautiful self-contained bungalows, all fully equipped with kitchen, small private pool, good air conditioning, very nice, smiling and helpful staff. A lot of thanks to Hazel, was a lovely, welcoming host, and made our stay perfect.

We had been there in March 2020 and in October 2022. Our first visit had been excellent, but in October we have had some problems: bites from not visible insects ((NOT mosquitos) causing sleepless nights and itching all over the body, lizards entering all cupboards in the kitchen, leaving deposits. Apart from our resort, the Seychelles have become even more expensive. Astonishingly, there are on Praslin no established shops selling fish. We also were not able to rent a small boat for ourselves, having to go in larger groups. Whereas diving 2 1;2 years ago had been wonderful in March 2020, it proved to be disappointing in October 2022. Underwater visibility had been unsuitable for filming and coral death had been visible everywhere, The wonderful Anse Lazio beach now will host a tourist village, which environmental consequences already visible.

Our stay at Heliconia Grove was above and beyond anything we could’ve hoped for- not just because of the luxurious suite, equipped with anything and everything you might need to make you feel at home, and the perfect location, but even more so thanks to the absolutely incredible owner, Hazel! No matter what inquiries we had (and we had MANY!) regarding dinner recommendations, excursions, even car rental- Hazel assisted us (always with a smile, patience and a great energy) through everything and curated the most perfect vacation for us, no matter what last-minute changes we had and taking into consideration all our needs preferences and limitations (traveling while pregnant and all that jazz :) ). Heliconia has a grill area, kayaks and direct access to the beach and each villa even has a small pool which is pleasant to dip into..or admire from the private patio. The place is easy waking distance (by beach or road) from a couple of nice restaurants (which Hazel helped us discover and book) takeaway trucks and some supermarkets (should you decide to cook some things up in your fully stocked kitchen). Cote d'Or is a beautiful beach and although the tide may reduce it in size (also season dependent), we found it to be one of the better Praslin beaches with great sand, nice shade and not packed with people. We would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Praslin to stay at the wonderful Heliconia Grove- you’ll be guaranteed to have an incredible stay and a perfect vacation!

Je ne peux que vous conseiller d'aller à Heliconia Grove Nous avons séjourné avec ma femme et des amis la semaine dernière pour 5 nuits/6jours. L'endroit est très beau, la maison est grande et bien équipée. La chambre est très belle, spacieuse et climatisée. le piscine sur la terrasse est très agréable et permet de se rafraichir. La plage est à 2 pas (entre 50 /100mtrs selon votre maison) Dès l'accueil de la gérante (Hazel) vous ne pouvez être que heureux, cette personne est souriante et rayonnante. Celle-ci vous donne de la bonne humeur dès la matin et est au petit soin pour vous. Réveil aux sons des vagues et des oiseaux; l'accès à la plage en quelques secondes pour profiter de l'eau turquoise et du sable fin. La villa, de style colonial, dispose d'un grand salon, d'une kitchenette équipée (vaisselle comptée) et des très grandes chambres avec dressing/douche/toilettes séparées. Sans oublier la petite piscine privée. L'ensemble est très propre. La situation est parfaite : Le restaurant ''La Goulue'' (excellent) et supermarchés sont à 10 minutes à pied. C'est un séjour enchanteur et nous avons été admirablement accueillis par Hazel, notre hôte. Elle était superbe. Bravo à toute l'équipe pour votre travail! (Un grand merci aussi à Joel) Nous recommandons cette adresse pour la tranquillité, le confort et l'accueil qui vous seront réservés. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus!
