"Firstly staff were very friendly and helpful, could not be faulted. Complained that internet was down, moved rooms but problem did not improve. Needed to sit in reception or in yard to check mails etc. Pool was closed but on last day attempts were being made to clean it so possibly will be opened in near future. It is a motel, so for those in a car probably very convenient, but if no car location not ideal as there is a fair walk to shops, Tram etc. All in all a good 11 day stay."

"There is no hairdryer or soap, and they check the cleaning when you leave. There is a Novotel right next door, and the exterior is the same and the view is the same. Good value for money! The location is a bit out of the way, but it is next to the tram. Rather, you can see the rural life park of Australian residents, so it is healing."

"Stayed here for 4 nights with my 3 children. Check-in was quick and smooth, with a complimentary litre of milk. Pool and spa quite spacious - spa was perfect temperature. There's an outdoor playground as well as an indoor playground, table tennis, giant chess, giant connect 4, kids TV area, outdoor cinema, adults TV area and gym. Amenities, laundry, and camp kitchen were all clean as easily accessible. There's a Woolworths just down the road."

"This hotel may not be known to many Melbourne people. It was converted from an old prison. The hotel also provides a swimming pool and you can visit some old rooms before the prison. There is an Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel, which tastes good."

"This is a quiet, nice, unique location hotel; if you don’t mind to walk a little bit to the train station, then this clean comfy and big apartment is right for you, cause you feel like home. If you want to visit pentridge prison it’s right next door. Overall, it’s worth to stay, thank you!"

"Simple Little Hotel, Clean and Tidy with friendly staff. Handy to restaurants and groceries. More signage as to where to park/go when checking in with a car would be handy as it's on a Very Busy street. Traffic noise was not a problem"
