Charming, rustic hotel in keeping with the island itself. Very clean, fresh towels and beds made daily. We loved our room and terrace area in the garden. Pool cleaned daily but not very warm at this time of year. Nice fresh breakfast. A couple of things to note: we left our key intentionally one day and couldn’t get back in on our return at 8.30pm. An emergency contact number had been left on reception (inside the building) but not on the door. Fortunately another resident let us in. So take your key with you! We visited first week in Oct, apparently this is midge season, beware as your room is surrounded by a lovely garden and we found it difficult to venture out come evening time without being eaten alive! Island advise- explore a little by foot if possible, the islands public buses are great but in actual fact you may find that you could have walked it in less time than the bus takes! There’s a delightful rustic little deli /cafe a few hundred yards left of the hotel (past the church) highly recommend.

This is a small, family run hotel. The island of Procida is very small and quaint - the hotel matches this style. Rooms are very clean and spacious. They are fairly basic and in a traditional homely style. Ideal for our short break. The garden area is lovely and our room had a great patio area, very relaxing to have a drink in the evening. We ate here one evening - you have to pre-order dinner. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. This area of the island is very quiet, there is restaurant about five minutes walk away (Ristorante La Pergola) which was very good. There are other restaurants and shops about 15 min walk away. The port is about 20 - 25 min walk away or a short cab ride. Beware of the cabs though - we made the rookie error of taking a cab without asking price, got fleeced 20 Euro. There is a local bus service which is very popular. You can walk around the entire island in a day. The breakfast is reasonable - would have liked a bit more choice, but as there are a small number of guests this is to be expected. It would be nice if coffee was offered on arriving, but staff will make coffee if you ask them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the ideal place to stay when visiting the island.

Lovely pool and terrace overlooking the sea with snack bar (doubles as restaurant at breakfast and dinner). Rooms OK, staff very helpful, breakfast good, view outstanding. Snags are the dinner provision and the location. Although the hotel is quite near the famous Postino beach there are no restaurants within easy walking distance, which is a shame as the food in the hotel we think is brought in from outside and was not particularly good. I was served on the first evening with what I think was a large crayfish or something similar which I found difficult to eat at all. Nice, helpful staff though.

I stayed at the Solcalante hotel for 7 days, also taking advantage of the half board service. In a moment of temporary disability, I found the optimum in this structure. Extreme courtesy and availability at the reception: Marianna, Graziella and Paolo always vigilant so that everything worked properly, and available to provide guests with any kind of information. Impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, comfortable shower even for people with reduced mobility. The swimming pool, accessible with low steps, a jewel set in the green, also offers a pleasant hydromassage. Plentiful and varied breakfast, impeccable bar service, very kind staff. Dinner, served on the splendid terrace, offers the choice between a meat menu and a fish menu, both excellently prepared by the young chef Crescenzo. All under the watchful eye of Mr. Franco. The love and care of the owners shines through in every detail of the structure. The location is a little off-center (and this guarantees tranquility and silence) but still well served by public transport. The beaches are easily accessible. Excellent value for money.

Hotel molto bello, elegante, molto curato, stupendo nei colori e in tutti i suoi spazi. Geniale la sala colazione tutta in vetro, con piscina; dispone di una SPA. Ho apprezzato gli arredi, l'accoglienza, l'ambiente... anche i prodotti per il bagno con il loro simbolo... è stata una stupenda sorpresa. Era la mia prima volta a Procida. Con i compagni di viaggio abbiamo "esplorato" l'isola con la mappa e le spiegazioni forniteci. Il mare con i faraglioni a pochi metri... sono veramente entusiasta per l'esperienza... Ringrazio ancora con questo msg per l'accoglienza ricevuta. Un tre stelle certamente superiore!!!

Albergo stupendo ottima posizione personale gentilissima pulizia eccellente cibo ottimo. Consigliato per viaggio di coppia o con amici. Piscina non grandissima ma molto pulita con annessi lettini sempre sterilizzati e idromassaggio
