This was our first hotel of many during our one week stay in northern Italy. Have in mind that we arrived at around 10 pm due to a delayed flight, and needed a place to rest before starting our road trip. Perfect location regarding airport and Bergamo city centre. A bit outside the city core to let the juice of Italian culture slowly get to us. We found ourselves at the reception after getting to park our rental inside the hotel premises. Met by a friendly staff with a smile on his face, as if knowing he was the chosen one to redeem northern Italy’s reputation regarding Europe’s Covid outbreak. Entering our room, a bucket of chilled Prosecco and strawberries awaited us. Pre-ordered, not included. At 11 pm we wanted pasta, as any international, normal person would when in Italy their first day. The chef obliged and gave us room service at that hour. Drunk with Prosecco, strawberries and pasta, we slept through the night dreaming of the journey ahead. The bed linen was clean and the bathroom upheld its hygienic standard as it should. Breakfast awaited, and was mostly packaged baked goods. We even saw a guy just shoving tons of this stuff into a paper bag. The staff said it was ok. Partially continental breakfast. Coffee was great. All in all, a good start of a week long road trip. Room was ok, but fully functional.

Stayed on business for four nights. The room was clean and well maintained with good WiFi reception. I was lucky to get a room with a balcony only available on one side of the hotel. Parking is a small yard with access from the adjacent business. As it has shared access my entry was blocked on one occasion but when I spoke to the receptionist the offending vehicle was moved after its delivery was complete. The parking area is quite small but fortunately the Fiat 500 rental car I had is easy to park and manoeuvre. The restaurant food was excellent and breakfast includes cooked food to order. The highlight of staying in this area is the clean cold air surrounding the mountains. I haven't smelt air like that for many decades. Simply divine.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo resort, posizione invidiabile, struttura nuova con piscina enorme ed esterni super curati. Il nostro chalet era piccino e fornito di tutto il necessario. Abbiamo fatto un massaggio in spa e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Tutto molto bello, nuovo e personale molto attento, però ci sarebbero un paio di cosine da rivedere..avrebbero secondo noi dovuto prevedere un passaggio al coperto per andare in piscina e alla spa, perché se esci in inverno dalla stanza in accappatoio fa veramente freddo, ma è solo un dettaglio. Al ristorante poca scelta e soprattutto piatti vegetariani pochissimi..ma da rivedere assolutamente la colazione. Come già detto da altri ospiti non esiste che in un 5 stelle devi ordinare le portate e ti senti un po’ a disagio a chiedere il bis che non viene tra l’altro proposto, il buffet è quasi inesistente e quello che ti portano al tavolo non viene scelto dal cliente( due croissant uno classico e uno integrale e anche le fette di pane..) ok la scelta del non sprecare il cibo ma così mi sembra un po’ eccessivo. Comunque ci tornerei, in estate soprattutto, per poter sfruttare anche la piscina esterna che ha un’esposizione bellissima!
