Amazing hotel in the beautiful Foresta Umbra. Comfortable and clean room but the highlight was the restaurant. Wonderful innovative food served in a dining room looking onto the trees. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. We had a great stay.

Easily the best part of this hotel is its location – buried deep in the heart of the forest. The Hotel Elda – offers a “Forest to Fork Experience” based on locally sourced ingredients. Think bright green nettle sauce and tiramisu topped with powdered porcini mushrooms. It may not be to everyone’s taste, but it is certainly a little different from the norm, which is always entertaining. It is an eco friendly hotel making good use of rainwater. This does mean that there is no drinking water on site though, so you need to plan ahead and bring your own or plan to buy bottles in the restaurant. Apart from that, it is a clean and comfortable base in very natural and peaceful surroundings. We visited as part of a 7 day walking trip to the Gargano Peninsula. Lots more tips on LovetoWander.

We passed this hotel by chance visiting the Foresta Umbra, looking for a place to eat lunch. We did not expect to find a chef who cooks such excellent dishes with local high quality ingredients and a lot of fantasy. The food not only looked superb, it was delicious, light but very satisfying. The service was very gentle and quick. The white and red wines were from the owners own vineyard and suited the different dishes perfectly. The prices were very honest. Highly recommended!

La nostra oasi, la nostra pausa per rigenerarci osservando il verde, respirando a pieni polmoni, ascoltando i suoni della foresta. Questo è l'hotel Elda! E poi il comfort delle camere, la cucina squisita e gli splendidi rapporti con tutto il personale ❤️

Cibo non all'altezza delle aspettative nonostante il prezzo molto alto... la colazione senza alcun prodotto di qualità trovata già pronta sul tavolo perché dalla sera prima devi comunicare cosa e quanto desideri mangiare La camera confortevole Non ci tornerei

sono stato due notti all interno di una vacanza in puglia. immerso nelle foresta umbra. vicino ai sentieri principali. pulito. ottima colazione con menu abbondante e variegato a richiesta. ottimo personale. ascensore per raggiungere i piani. nessun problema all accoglienza

Il fascino di un rifugio unito al comfort di un hotel 4 stelle. Struttura completamente rinnovata, vista sulla foresta umbra da qualsiasi finestra,ambienti naturalmente freschi, kit dolce di benvenuto in camera, personale presente e gentile, specie i ragazzi nella sala colazione. Esperienza incredibilmente rilassante, vale la pena farci una tappa prima di affrontare il caldo agostano della bellissima costa garganica.

Esperienza fantastica: menù degustazione eccellente. Cibi che rispecchiano il territorio, preparati e presentati in modo sublime. Lo chef e il personale davvero preparati. Bella location immersa nella favolosa Foresta Umbra. Ristorante consigliato.
