Agriturismo Villa Cefalà

For 120€ / night, we expect an impeccable room and a correct service. We booked 2 nights at the last minute. The property is magnificent with an old and majestic building. We were given a small house at the back of the estate... 50m from the railway line! The train is not very noisy but the vibrations still woke us up at 6:30. The maisonette was clean but dark, dated, without any decoration. The rickety toilet board, the hot water not working when you flush the toilet, the variable shower temperature, a power outlet hanging from the bedroom wall. We complained and were moved to a room near the pool. It was much better although these rooms would still need a refurbishment to justify the price. Note that the swimming pool was still covered but the opening was indeed announced for the month of May so nothing abnormal. To apologize for the inconvenience, the hotel offered us breakfast. Otherwise my review would have had one star less.

Excellent welcome barbecue, friendly and kind staff. Unique appetizer served with 7 elements in an exceptional dish. The 3 excellent first courses, excellent lamb, potatoes and rolls and finally a delicious Sicilian cannoli. Wonderful location surrounded by greenery, a day to be repeated for sure.

excellent hospitality, an elegant Sicilian villa with an excellent restaurant, a very warm and welcoming dining room with a large monumental fireplace, excellent cuisine and excellent quality of raw materials, from pizza to fish, from first courses to desserts. A special thanks to Ignazio who pampered us with great professionalism and always with a smile and sympathy, a rare thing nowadays. an experience to be repeated.

Beautiful structure a little less lunch ... positive note the dining room staff who tried to remedy without success, alas for them, the swimming pool for the day in particular could not contain all the people let in ...

Io e mio marito siamo stati al pranzo di Capodanno in questo locale proprio oggi, era la prima volta.. Che dire? Esperienza da dimenticare o quasi..per molteplici motivi che elencherò qui di seguito : 1)Locale piccolissimo in base al numero dei tavoli. In pratica eravamo a 30 cm dagli altri commensali 2)cucine all'esterno dalle sale pranzo, i camerieri che passavano continuamente aprendo una porta finestra per passare con i piatti in continuazione raffreddando gli ambienti 3)Servizio lentissimo 4)Antipasti freddi e senza alcun sapore tranne i pastellati 5)Risotto completamente scotto (più che altro crema di riso) 6) porzione di tagliatelle al ragù minima, nel tavolo da quattro persone la stessa porzione che per due... 7) nessun posto dove appoggiare borsa, per cui ho  preso una sedia da un tavolo libero e mi stavano quasi contestando questo fatto 8) Qualche cliente che ha fatto notare qualcosa si è sentito rispondere dal cameriere che era meglio che restava a casa sua 9)Le porzioni veramente minimal, la quantità di cassata al forno e di buccellato annesso non sarebbe bastata neanche per un bambino...
