This hotel was recommended to me by a local resident, who later told me that they had heard it had just been sold to new owners. If that is true, then the new owners do not understand the basics of hospitality in a hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, but I noticed a pool party being set up for an 18th birthday celebration as I left for dinner. When I returned at 11:00pm, the outdoor dance sound system was pumping at full volume, and the dancing went on until after midnight (on a Tuesday night). It was then followed by 30 minutes of shouted birthday well wishes by each of the guests over the PA system. Finally at almost 1:00am I could no longer hear the sounds of the party. The next morning, I went to a breakfast with no hot food service (no eggs or sausage present, nor available upon request). The pastries appeared to be day old, and the cereal was stale. Needless to say, I will not be returning for another stay.

We stayed in this hotel for New Year's Eve, the hotel is modern, surrounded by greenery and chestnut groves, friendly and helpful staff, we opted for two nights including New Year's Eve dinner, the rooms are large and some even have small terraces , the owner was very helpful to our request, as we have a dog and they gave us the room with the terrace, the breakfast is good and has a wide range of products, the New Year's Eve dinner was good, accompanied with excellent music, very friendly and kind staff and waiters, for those who love relaxation and decide to abandon the chaos of the city for a few days, this is an excellent destination

We spent 2 nights at Christmas with my whole family group. We had a great time. The professional and always kind staff in all departments, the cuisine is excellent and the rooms and environments are comfortable... We were guests of the hotel restaurant Il Castagneto in Melfi for this Sunday and we cannot express ourselves except with multiple praises. From the full availability received to organize the lunch, to the wonderful welcome, to the attention in the service by all the dining room staff, to finish with an excellent performance by the chef who made us eat 10 and praise. Finally, a splendid walk in their chestnut grove to collect the famous Melfi chestnut, guaranteed fun for the little ones and why not for the adults too! We were welcomed very well at the reception, staff were kind and helpful towards their guests, check-in without waiting, we received a beautiful room, large with quality courtesy products, and with impeccable hygiene, plus with a very sweet surprise, an intoxicating dessert the whole room from its scent, still warm! Congratulations to the scef! We also stayed for dinner where we enjoyed a perfect dinner. Excellent dishes prepared with typical local products, but revisited by an excellent chef!
