Hotel le Terrazze

Very communicative before arrival and coordinated our car service even though our flight was delayed. Prior to arrival we were concerned as the hotel is directly on the highway (Google maps), however, it is built into the cliff below the highway. Our room was on floor-4 after coming down from floor 2 to zero to reach the lobby and common area all by elevator. The view from room 404 was amazing and was big enough to enjoy. The king size bed and double shower were a surprise in a European hotel. Breakfast was great after we figured out we could order more than one item per person. You are given a paper menu and just mark the number of each item you’d like (2 cappuccino, 1 orange juice, etc). Our final morning my hubby had a big breakfast with eggs & bacon, yogurt, croissant, Nutella pancake and the daily “surprise” pastry. The common area was decorated with bright red & blue on white and had several seating areas so you could find a favorite spot or sit outside and be part of the view on the large patio. In the late afternoon/evening a full bar menu is available with the addition of snacks like a toasted Parma ham & cheese sandwich, margarita pizza or an affogato. Elisabetta had great wine recommendations including a pink Pinot Grigio. All in all a great stay!

From the time of booking, lots of communication and help to plan our Amalfi adventures. Stunning hotel which is perfectly located with the best views of the coast. Incredible staff and large room. Quick walk to beach restaurants and water or hotel shuttle available to Amalfi and Positano.

Too perfect for words. Amazing views from everywhere. Utmost attention to detail. Kindest management ever. Extremely convenient parking. Blissful and delicious breakfast. G&Ts and Prosecco for the cocktail hour watching the sea traffic rush hour. And, the sunrise… I shall say no more! We fell in love with Hotel Le Terrazze and already arranging our next stay in May, as it is worth a trip of its own.

This was the third time we have been to Amalfi Coast but the first time we have stayed in this area. I am so happy I found this hotel - we absolutely loved it here ……the location, the rooms, the views, the staff, the breakfasts. The reception team were super helpful and very responsive in advance of our stay with all my questions and request for help, I also requested a particular room months in advance, and whilst of course they said they couldn’t guarantee this, it was the room we got on arrival, as well as being able to check in early. The personal touches, the thought that has gone into this hotel, and the service levels here, are fantastic. If you are looking at booking in this area, look no further, you have found the perfect place.

We loved the hotel from the moment we arrived. I’m so sorry for not remembering names but the receptionist was so helpful and sorted out a problem we had with our luggage that was nothing to do with the hotel. The Helpfulness of all the staff up to Marcello the owner and his daughter Elisabetta was second to none . Having never been to Amalfi Coast before the location for us was superb. The rooms were so large and immaculate and the view was to die for. There were a number of restaurants recommended and booked for us by the hotel and they were of a high standard, pleasant, enjoyable and the food was really good. The beach below was a lovely cove with 3 restaurants and water taxis to take you to various locations or would provide boat higher. It was 250 steps down but as long as you paced yourself coming back up it wasn’t as bad as it sounds and definitely worth a visit. We would also like to thank Elisabetta, for her knowledge of the wines and her friendliness towards us, she is a credit to her parents.

This was our third visit to Hotel Le Terrazze and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Machello and his wonderful staff. As expected, the spectacular ocean front views from our extended balcony were spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed the full breakfast each morning and exceptional service provided from the restaurant team. Front desk staff, Monica and Annarita were always available to provide assistance and sell us bus tokens so we could explore Sorrento, Minori and Maiori. Thanks once again Machello for the welcome gifts and fantastic return visit. This is our favorite place to stay in Amalfi and we are looking forward to returning next year.
