I was with my family for dinner on a night in early August, a fairytale location, enchanting gardens and an elegant and professional welcome in a place where excellence is at home to celebrate my wife's birthday. Let's start by saying that the attention given to my girls was splendid, they asked for a "classic" schnitzel with chips but it wasn't classic. A cutlet "made by them" with crunchy breading, of such a size as to completely fill the plate and "simple" crispy and delicious chips (usually they never finish the dishes but this time they devoured it in just a few minutes). We had a tasting by Chef Paolo Gramaglia which leaves no room for doubt, simply wonderful. An entree with frisella and squid which even the little girls devoured, bombette with podiatrist foam, cherry tomatoes and mouth-watering pork poop, a pasta with squid on potato cream which I had to make the slipper, a tataki of Tuna well marinated and cooked to perfection. To finish, a ginger ice cream made by them which cleansed the palate in an excellent way, all accompanied by a rosé from Casa Vespa, the Flarò, a blend of Aleatico and Negramaro which delighted us. At the end of the meal, Chefs Igor and Daniele went around the tables to collect compliments from all the tables, including ours. A wonderful experience.
