Family-friendly Hotels in Pu＇er

We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff professional and friendly. The lake is beautiful and although the location is a bit out of the main city there is a nice and relaxed suburb/village near by that is actually prettier and more nicer than the centre. About a 5 minutes walk from the resort you will find shops, restaurants etc. However, we were disappointed that the spa which was sign posted, as well as two restaurants within the resort don’t actually exist. We would still recommend the resort in any case and we able to use elema and call didis easily.

The experience in all aspects is amazing. I came here many years ago and came here for the second time when my children grew up. The facilities in the family room are very humane and meticulous. There are cakes and drinks in the refrigerator, electric blankets, duvets... The climate and temperature difference are fully considered. Because the oxygen content in the forest is high, the sleep quality is very high. I didn't feel tired when visiting the park the next day. The elderly and children were very happy

This hotel looks beautiful. The room is spacious and clean with modern shower ( it was so modern it took me a while to figure out how to turn it on 😜) but surprisingly we had to get staff come a couple of times to fix some basic things like the plug hole and sink. Other than that the beds are comfy, location is convenient if you are in Pu’er to visit the ancient tea horse road. Other than that there is not much around except for mushroom and tea stores. Breakfast was so so, just your basic Chinese breakfast buffet without any coffee or milk or bread 🤣

This hotel is well suited to provide you with a quite relaxing weekend. It is perfect to experience the cases of clouds in the fall/winter. Unfortunately it is a bit outside of town which requires some efforts to get a taxi but it is not impossible. The small cottages are well designed and very clean. Being located in a tea plantation gives some extract nice experience. On the downside being out of the town pushes you to depend very much on the services provided by the hotel. Breakfast is to expensive given the food diversity and quality provided. The same applies to the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The hotel has been equipped with a very nice setup bar but this one is only open in the afternoon but not in the evening. In general the staff are well trained and friendly. In short i recommend the place for a short relaxation weekend

Huanongli Hotel (also known as Pastoral Hotel in English) is a beautiful little oasis in the bustling city of Pu’er! Remarkably situated on the rooftop of a historic warehouse or market building, it has been thoughtfully and tastefully designed - and is a lovely place to stay. The hotel is only a stone’s throw from the fascinating Daijia Alley, where some of the oldest buildings in Pu’er can be found - and is also within walking distance of the Tea Celebrities Garden and other landmarks. You can easily take a taxi to the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Our room was really delightful and included a pretty waterside decking area with outdoor furniture. Staff were extremely polite and helpful and breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Pu’er.

Lovely hotel, clean and modern. Location was ok, next to a half open mall, no convenient stores nearby which was a little annoying. All scenic areas are a short taxi journey away, 3-5 km, not more than 15RMB. Breakfast was average, limited fruit selection, coffee was horrid, mostly Chinese food. Staff were very helpful. Tea, coffee, kettle, water and toiletries in the room. Overall definitely worth the stay for a couple of nights as the price is affordable and the tourist attractions are nearby.

Transportation: In the botanical garden, you need to drive a 3KM winding mountain road to navigate to the Asia-Pacific Forest Base. Moreover, there will be a lot of sand and sand when it rains on this section of the road, so pay attention to safety when driving. Room: I booked a double bed room and a detached log cabin. In order to get close to the two, the big bed room was changed into a standard room (China Pavilion). The size of the standard room is very small, and it is basically a situation where you go to the kang as soon as you open the door. The single-family wooden house has two bedrooms, one living room and two bathrooms, which is quite spacious. The standard room in the China Pavilion is connected to many other rooms, so it is quite noisy. At night, I can hear the voice of other people talking, and the sound of snoring next door, which is really terrible. At 11 or 12 o'clock in the evening, someone next door will be woken up when they come back. Choose the China Pavilion carefully if you have poor sleep quality! Only single family cottages are recommended. Service: I read reviews saying that the service is very good, but I didn't feel much about it, so I can only say it's okay. When I arrived, I said I would trouble you to arrange a quieter room, so I gave 902 in the China Pavilion. As soon as I went to put down my things, they said they would change us to a room next to 909, which would be quieter. Then why not give it in the first place? It was raining heavily when I went back the next afternoon, so I called the hotel to ask if I could arrange a car to come down the mountain to pick me up. The reply is that it is too rainy to pick up now. We waited for a while and the rain did not stop, so we bit the bullet and drove up the mountain. However, there were no less than 3 battery cars driving down the mountain to see off the guests on the road. I really have a question mark on my face❓The car is going down the mountain, why not pick us up by the way? Can't understand! Breakfast: Breakfast is okay, basic, enough to fill you up, you can cook rice noodles or dried rice. After the rain, the road is full of water and mud. Overall, this hotel feels more suitable for staying for one night when the weather is sunny.

For people who have lived in the city for a long time, coming here is like coming to a paradise❤ The hotel rooms will not disturb each other, and they are very independent. The room is decorated in bamboo forest style, fresh and comfortable. The outdoor environment is particularly good, with many trees, flowers and plants. It seems that you can pick them during the harvest season (for a fee). Unfortunately, we came in February and missed it. We can only come next time. There is a lovely children's playground where children will not get bored playing all day. The snack bar next to it tastes good, especially the jelly, which is well seasoned. The breakfast is OK, and the rice noodles are good. Finally, let's focus on the service. One of the most important things about this kind of garden-style hotel is the service. Lanmeishan is great, especially there is a good-looking little brother who drives the shuttle bus to pick us up. The service is warm and thoughtful, and he is not tired of various requests❤❤❤

The hotel is in the ancient city, very lively at night, there is a bonfire party every day, it is very convenient to play, the hotel facilities are complete, the environmental sanitation service is very good, the proprietress is very warm and caring, and also provides buffet breakfast and lunch. The stay experience is good and it is recommended!

The room was much bigger than expected, and it was so clean that you could roll around on the floor. It was made of straw mats and was very quiet. At first glance, the boss loves cleanliness and pays attention to hygiene. The entire house, the living room and the garden are kept spotless. It's a pity that we only arranged one day's itinerary in Pu'er, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer. I plan to come to Yunnan again around the Chinese New Year and stay here for a few more days to fully appreciate the beauty of this house! Another note: I really like these cute little things in the boss’s garden. I feel better after reading them!
