We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff professional and friendly. The lake is beautiful and although the location is a bit out of the main city there is a nice and relaxed suburb/village near by that is actually prettier and more nicer than the centre. About a 5 minutes walk from the resort you will find shops, restaurants etc. However, we were disappointed that the spa which was sign posted, as well as two restaurants within the resort don’t actually exist. We would still recommend the resort in any case and we able to use elema and call didis easily.

The room is quite big, the electric blanket is turned on considerately, the air conditioner is very warm, and it is very comfortable to stay at night. The balcony is a good place to drink tea. The hotel service responds quickly, the service car is very fast, and there is basically no need to wait. There is a special passage to the scenic spot. The lady at the front desk thoughtfully prepared backpacks with ethnic costumes and hats for us to take photos. The driver and tour guide took us for a walk along the way. There was also a designated hotel in the ancient village. In the teahouse, you can enjoy a cup of tea while viewing the mountains. The hotel also brings fruits and snacks, which is very thoughtful and warm! The hotel package I booked included the experience of making tea cakes. A tea artist took me to visit the tea factory, and then I pressed the Pu'er tea cakes myself and wrote my name and message with a brush. It was very ritualistic, haha! The sutra copying and tea garden afternoon tea included in the package were also great. The tea artist lady (I think her surname is Tian) also carefully recorded a short video for me to take as a souvenir. I really want to thank her! It is also very relaxing to have a spa in the tea garden. Even if it is only a facial treatment, there is also a full body relaxing massage. Thumbs up to the beautician's technique! In short, I feel that this is relatively niche. In the hotel in the tea garden, you can visit the ancient tea mountain, a world cultural heritage, and you can also have some sightseeing and experience projects. It is clean and not boring. The hotel is in Mangjing Shangzhai, very close to the Queen Bee Tree. I stayed for two nights and woke up every morning listening to the birds singing. The air was very fresh when I opened the balcony door. I really liked this big balcony. There was roasted tea and Brown singing in the evening. It was good to organize activities to visit the ancient village during the day. However, the level of the hotel's guides really needs to be improved. It may be related to the cultural level and knowledge. The service is very good.
