Room we stayed was in poor condition, probably no renovation since was built so 30years at least. In the roim, No views outside, not enough sockets, poor lights werent enough brightly. Additionally have to pay per day if you want to use the safety box or the car park. So not much comodities included. Its noisier hotel as its easier to hear other people in the above and below floors and next to rooms.
The hotel facilities were quiet good and breakfast buffet good. Staff were good with us.

We stayed here fore a 4 day break and it was amazing, we read all the reviews and most are very positive. The hotel is lovely the staff are fantastic couldn't do enough for us, the restaurant was fabulous it had everything you needed so much to choose from. The staff work so hard it's like a family business rooms were cleaned every day perfect. David at the reception desk is so professional and was so helpful. We will definitely be coming back thank you.

From start to end the staff have been exceptional, very friendly and efficient. Food has been plentiful and varied and every meal Daniel A was welcoming and helpful. The animation team have made sure that there is plenty to do if you ever get bored of the pool. The whole site is kept very clean and tidy. The rooms were really comfortable and we loved the view of Tiede and being on a adults only floor. Great trip, certainly would recommend the hotel and would look to try other Fergus hotels in the future.

If like me you are reading all the terrible reviews and wishing you hadn’t booked this hotel for your holidays DO NOT PANIC - we have just checked out after a lovely week there! We booked via Jet2 for our sons 21st, we stayed in a Magnus room (on the 7th floor) which whilst smaller than I was expecting was lovely - clean and in great decorative condition. The roof top terrace that was just for magus rooms was lovely - we often had the whole place to ourselves to sit / sunbathe and enjoy the complimentary sort drinks. Yes there was a party of school children staying there but we had been told of this at the time of booking and to be fair the kids were respectful and seemed well behaved! The food was fine - breakfasts excellent with lots to choose from and the evening meals also were fine (we weren’t expecting Michelin stars!). The pools were nice - we used the upper one which was quieter than the main one, the bar staff were great. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful and the bottle of Cava for my sons 21st was a lovely touch! We would recommend and definitely stay again.

My wife and I brought my son and his girlfriend for a week to celebrate his 21st birthday!! We had the best time, everything was amazing from walking into the hotel to leaving today. Rooms were great, clean, and views terrific! Staff were friendly and very very helpful. Food was good, a great selection to choose from, especially the breakfasts!! We would definitely come back!! Thank you!!!

Wouldn’t go again full of kids 15 to 18 year olds running and screaming around the lobby pool tables corridors at night. I think I’m on a teenage holiday never seen so many kids with no adults must be school trips or something. Food warm not very tasty, had to buy/rent a kettle for the room had a junior suite as well. Not impressed at all with this hotel. We had gone to cactus gardens in fuerteventura and had a great time this furgus is the complete opposite in Tenerife. Food is warm and bland drinks are weak and flat all in all not a good experience.

I stayed here for 4 nights in a suite with my mum. Room was very spacious and had two balconies, one with views of the sea. Very friendly & helpful staff, good location for exploring Puerto de la Cruz, pool had a beautiful view of mountains too. Daniel A in the restaurant and Orestes at the pool bar were both welcoming & super helpful. More poolside umbrellas and coffee making service in our room would improve the stay. Definitely recommend staying here!
