The Funny Lion - Puerto Princesa

We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!

Why it's Great: • For Friends: The beds are so comfy, you'll feel like you're cheating on your actual bed. Great pool for that "we're still talking business but mostly sunbathing" vibe. • For Business Trips: Excellent Wi-Fi and work desks in the room, so you can pretend to be productive while secretly plotting your next island hop. The staff is so accommodating, they'd probably attend your conference call if you asked. Bottom Line: A jungle-chic corporate retreat where you finally figure out the difference between a work trip and a vacation. (There is none, it's just a nicer pool.) Roaring good time! 🦁💼😎

The staff are amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The pool is a great place to relax. The food and drinks are excellent. I also enjoyed the free archery and kayaking. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Honestly, we had the best time at Funny Lion Resort! From the start, everything felt top-notch. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always ready to help and just really made us feel welcome. There were so many complimentary perks too, which was such a nice surprise. It felt like they really went above and beyond to make the stay special. What I loved the most is that the resort pretty much has everything you need—you seriously don’t have to leave. There are activities, great restaurants, a cozy coffee bar, and more all right there. We didn’t even feel the need to go out and explore because everything we wanted was already in the resort. The whole place has a super relaxing vibe, perfect for just chilling and enjoying the moment. It was such a good escape from the usual busy life. Would 100% go back—and probably will, again and again. Can’t recommend it enough!
