Best Puerto Princesa Hotels

"Everything was great!! The location was perfect and the staff were great. The food was also very delicious, especially the fries!! Highly recommended! There are no amenities, so you have to prepare those yourself. There is no hair dryer either. But the room was clean. There is no air conditioning, but the fan is cool enough so it's not a problem. The location was so great!"

"I really enjoyed my three nights day at A touch of Pink secret garden. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and well decorated. The swimming pool had a very nice lounge area with barbecue facilities. I ate all of my meals at the secret garden and everything was very good. The service was amazing, they were very helpful and delivered my meals to my room when i asked. The owner was very kind and communicated well on what's app I think the Touch of Pink Secret Garden is a very special place and i look for to coming back."

"My husband and I stayed in one of the little huts with our own deck. It was so nice to relax in the hammock. Everything was clean and the staff were very quick to help if you needed something. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was delicious and they were able to make vegan for me. We walked down to the beach and back which I enjoyed because it was good exercise. The walk to the beach can be steep at times so wouldn't be good for someone with mobility issues. We loved it here and would definitely go back and recommend it to our friends. "

"The reception staff were magnificent especially Athena. A beautiful swimming pool which could have been cleaner. It was a bit dated but the restaurant let it down with a poor choice at breakfast and a limited evening menu. The room was fine. The hotel needed an injection of life and care."

I left something important at the hotel when we checked out, and when I called the hotel staff they even offered me to send my stuff to Manila. I’ll definitely recommend Sotogrande Hotel to my friends and family and will come back when we visit Puerto Princesa Palawan."

"The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there.  The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)"

"Very cozy, new, clean hotel! It would be more correct to say a guest house - the owner lives nearby, in his own house. Accordingly, you receive family care!!! If you wish, they will prepare delicious, home-made food for you. Personally, this is where I tried several traditional Filipino dishes for the first time - delicious! In general, only positive impressions! The main road is 700 meters away, in principle not a problem at all. By the way, you can book different tours directly from the hotel. Definitely recommend!!!"

"One night at Astoria Palawan is simply not enough! I had an amazing time during my short stay and truly believe that at least 5 days are needed to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer—especially the Astoria Waterpark, which is fun, exciting, and well-maintained.The entire resort atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully kept, perfect for relaxing or adventure-filled days. The buffet dinner was very delicious—great variety and flavors! The fire dance performance—it was absolutely mesmerizing and added a magical touch to the evening. However, I noticed the breakfast buffet lacked halal-friendly options. I had only chicken adobo, egg, and fish only. Most of the main dishes, including the soup and hotdogs, contained pork, which may be a concern for Muslim or halal-conscious guests. I hope they consider offering more inclusive meal options in the future. Special thanks to Ms. Princess Gaflu at the front desk for her warm and professional service, and Alonso, the attendant at the waterpark, who went above and beyond to guide me, take photos and videos, and make me feel welcome. His friendly attitude made my experience even more memorable! If I didn’t have prior appointments in Manila, I would have stayed longer—and I definitely will next time! For me, Palawan means Astoria. Not El Nido. Just Astoria. It’s the best place to stay in the province—hands down! Can’t wait to come back."
