This is my second time here and i enjoy the hotel very well. Nice room, staff and breakfast. its very clean here and very good view over Puerto Rico. The best room here have own pool and that i like a lot. And if you dont wanna stay at the room swimmingpool, then you can go to the pool by the bar. very very nice. i will recomand this to all other.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at! Great location, very clean, comfortable and peaceful place. We booked a room with private pool and it was lovely with amazing views. We didn’t have any problems with the virtual reception. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again! Highly recommended!

What a pleasure was to stay in this beautiful resort. Staff were so friendly and professional. Apartments clean spacious and modern. Breakfast was tasty and with enough choices. Everything was freshly made and tasty. This really is a 5 star establishment.

Firstly, to no fault of the hotel itself, Gran Canaria, (although I’ve been told Puerto Rico is the better part) is a fairly dire place with very little natural greenery and wildlife and not a huge amount to do. My partner described it as “Blackpool”. It’s just areas of high populations of hotels with “shopping centres” with a load of trashy restaurants and bars. The beach is far from beautiful. Secondly, the hotel is situated at the top of just over 470 to 500 steps (or a long steep windy road) depending on which way you approach. Myself and my partner are very fit but this is certainly something to keep in mind! Anytime you leave the hotel, unless you take a cab, you must embark on these! Thirdly, there is a “virtual” reception and no physical one. Therefore, when you arrive you have to navigate your way in through one of the two entrances with no assistance and your baggage to your room. The hotel is a little bit of a maze so this is easier said than done. Not the arrival one would expect at a 5 star hotel. Although the smart suite mobile app is fairly intuitive which has your room key on it, I can envisage that this may be problematic for some. Fourthly, the housekeeping service is only on alternate days and is rather lacklustre. For example the patio was never swept despite there being bits on it, towels are just folded and put on a sofa, the bed was never properly remade, the dishwasher not emptied ect. Fifthly, the apartment itself was ok. Very neutral with nothing particularly luxurious or five star to speak of. The matress a foam king size with terrible synthetic pillow and duvet was not plush and comfortable as I would expect. We had a problem with the air conditioning not working very effectively - twice the virtual reception sent someone out - but the issue was never really resolved and we were told that the air conditioning system just isn’t good because it is run on water rather than gas. We did manage to get it slightly better but we were still far too warm over night with disturbed sleep - it would take most of the night to get to a comfortable level of coolness (not helped by the fact you can’t put it on when you go out in the evening for a meal so you can come back to it cool due to it automatically cutting off when the place is unoccupied). I do not believe for one minute that everyone else’s air con was as poor as ours, and I’m sure if it was there would have been plenty of complaints in the peak of the summer. The view from the balcony was nice, looking over the marina and sea. Sixthly, the breakfast is good. A nice selection buffet, freshly cooked eggs and omelets can be requested from the menu. I would however avoid the poached eggs as they always came with undercooked whites and stone cold having been plunged into ice water. Also quite hard to time your accompaniments when it is literally just the eggs you order which appear whenever they are ready. The bacon was terrible (very strange, thin and rubbery)! Lastl

This hotel is located in the mountains with a view over sunny south beach as well as the atlantic ocean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need on your vacationstay. The employees are excellent and makes sure that you get the best out of the experience. The outside infinitypool is very luxurious with comfortable sunbeds and a poolbar that has a lot of good food and drinks. The hotelbreakfeast holds a high standard with fresh fruits, juices, bread and a menú with omelette, pancakes etc. The restaurant has the best food to share!
