My friend and I visited this hotel the middle of march. We had a jacuzzi room which was really lovely and big with the jacuzzi on the balcony. There was also sunbeds and a table with 2 chairs. The room has a small kitchen area and it was lovely having a kettle in the room with plenty of plates and cups etc. You also have a microwave, toaster and a hob. The hotel is on the hill but only a short walk to the main centre with all the bars and restaurants in. It does go on until 4am so can be quite noisy however that never bothered us. If you turn right at the shopping centre you come to a lovely area with more shops and restaurants and dancing fountains. It was lovely getting away from all the noise of the centre. If you turn left you can walk to the beach and harbour which takes about 10 minutes. There are some lovely restaurants and bars there. We ate in the Greek restaurant by the harbour and the food was amazing. Back to the hotel and there food. We were half board. Breakfast was a standard buffet with all the normal breakfast bits and was really lovely. The evening meal was buffet starters and dessert then menu main. My main complaint about the food was a lot of the buffet food didn't have any labels either explain what the little starters were or their ingredients. Im a vegetarian and couldn't work out what things were sometimes. If you have a particular allergy you would struggle to know if you could eat them or not. This has been the only hotel where the food has not been clearly marked with labels of ingredients and it really should be. Its the same as in the main menu there is no description of certain foods or ingredients. There were a few vegetarian options but they wasn't marked only 1 vegan choice was . There is a lovely waiter who serves you in the evening who's English is brilliant and was always a laugh but sadly we never got his name but he was so helpful and even got the chef to make me something that wasn't on the menu. Drinks are fine they could do with more comfy seats inside by the bar area this time of year for the evening as it was slightly windy and chilly at times. Pool area is fine with lots of sunbeds and a jacuzzi. We also used the spa and had massages done. Our only real complaint was the last night of our holiday. A couple of days before we were due to leave we found a massive cockroach in our bedroom which we flicked out and informed the maid. We didn't think anything of it as we know the canaries are known for them. When we came back the following night we found a small one. Again it was disposed off. Our last night we came back to the room to find 3 of them sat on the floor and they were babies. We went down to reception to inform them but as it was 1am the guy on the desk said he couldn't do anything and gave us the spray. We went back up to our room and found a couple of more babies which we sprayed then found ourselves having to pull the beds out and the sofa now gone 1am. We found what w

We chose this hotel for our March trip celebrating our anniversary and birthdays mainly because of its close proximity to all the bars and restaurants so everything after that is a bonus A beautiful hotel massive clean modern suites a nice restaurant bar and snack bar with plenty of sun loungers around the pool area. Check in was painless and quick dealt with professionally and politely We where given two rooms on the 5th floor with wonderful views of Puerto Rico they were beautiful clean large modern suites with a large bathroom with walk in shower the bedroom was open plan with a kitchenette and a lounge area with a sofa which leads onto a spacious balcony with magnificent views The restaurant We where bed and breakfast so can only comment on breakfast which we found was plenty full lots of freshly cooked food fresh bread omelettes cooked to your preference all the food and drinks we had here where lovely no complaints from us at all The pool A nice pool surrounded by plenty of sun beds the pool doesn’t open till 10 so no need to be taking towels down at sunrise and to be honest there’s plenty of loungers The bar We only used it a couple of times during happy hour lovely cocktails and sangria There is also a shop on site which is ideal and the prices are more than reasonable I had walked down the hill too the hill dino for sangria and it was cheaper in the shop on site All in all this is a wonderful hotel and we will return some day in the future thank you for having us we loved it

Although well located, you do need to be fairly mobile to access this hotel. It is also located directly opposite the commercial centre, which is incredibly loud into the early hours at times. We did know this at time of booking and chose purely for the location, however it is also a fairly long walk from the beach which in heat is unpleasant especially with sand in the wrong places The rooms are very large, unfortunately we had an awful room, despite my husband stating it was for our anniversary, and ordering a surprise wine gift. Basic is the word I’d describe for this hotel in general, it’s tired in need of a good clean and general update. I’m struggling to see how this is rated a 4*. The robes and towels are old and threadbare, the beds are singles pushed together, and not fixed so constantly moved. Our shower was mouldy with old mildew. Nothing the cleaners could do to prevent this it was purely old and in need of maintenance. The balcony had loose railings, the hot tub was filthy and broken, to top it off it overlooked a derilict hotel next door/ residential buildings with dogs barking all day. We supposedly paid for superior it being on the highest floor ? The view however is ok with sun later in the day and pretty at night. The pool area was fine, the usual suspects queue at the door before opening to bag their spot, which is utterly pointless as no sun is on the front of the building until lunch time. Pool bar was good , with lovely staff and good food, drinks very reasonable. God awful music on repeat which totally ruined the vibe being overly loud 1980’s pop, I remember it the first time around and it wasn’t good then .. We didn’t waste our time with the weird astro turf roof, no bar open but random showers installed ? We stayed B&B .. breakfast was pretty poor, small selection, not refreshed or hot. Again the staff were lovely and work very hard. We went out every day in our two week stay, the area itself is pretty tired looking, it’s a shame as this hotel group seem to be purchasing pretty much everything in the valley, if they concentrated on upgrading their existing, I might have felt more positive. It cost in the region of £3000 with a package, which although I wasn’t expecting luxury, totally was not worth the cost. I’d recommend looking at apartments, as they are abundant in the area around and half the cost for better quality. We went purely on location and adults only. I don’t like to leave bad feedback, but we love our holidays, and I think if you look closely at the negative reviews, then it gives a much better reflection of this hotel which should be a 3* presently. The only redeeming feature, are the beautiful staff who made us feel welcome, and worked so hard with smiles every day.

This is a very nice hotel and great location. We stayed there over new year and were very impressed. We stayed in an upper floor room with large balcony - views from the room were fabulous, particularly on New Year’s Eve during the fireworks. The room was clean and good facilities, we were very comfortable - the room cleaning was also very good with the chamber maid doing a really good job and thoughtfully cleaning and tidying the room. The room had a spa bath on the balcony and we thought it would be like a hot tub, but it was not, the water was cool and I am sure it would be great in summer, but in January it was not so good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the commercial centre and Mogán Mall, it is an easy walk down the hill, some may find it a challenge to walk up, but we did it multiple times and it was fine, a taxi up the fill is about €5 We used the Hotel spa whilst we were there, this was a little dated, but still very nice and offered a pool, steam rooms, spa bath etc. my wife also had a massage, which she said was very good. Only challenge we encountered was that 1 of the 2 lifts kept breaking down and so with only 1 lift, the wait was sometimes very long. I would very much recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we returned.

We stayed for 10 nights at the end of October, large balcony on floor 7. Second visit to this hotel and it was just as good as the first in 2022. We just had B&B because we enjoy a walk in the evening down to the commercial centre or Morgan Mall for food. Rooms are large and cleaned daily with free safe and everything you need if you wanted to cook yourself a quick meal. Bed was comfy, shower was excellent. The only problem we had was that the toilet was blocked when we arrived, notified reception and cleared within the hour. We never used the spa so were unable to comment on it. Lovely walk to the seafront and restaurants by the harbour which took around 20 minutes. Great hotel, peaceful in the daytime, yes you can hear the bars below at night from the commercial centre but it did not bother us at all whilst sleeping. Thank you to all the staff (especially our cleaner) and we have booked to come back in May.

Fabulous week at the Casablanca. Room had everything we needed and was spotless. WiFi worked really well as did air con. Free safe in room. We hired an iron from reception for 10 euro deposit. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Swimming pool area was lovely, no sunbed wars. Plenty of beds and we never had an issue getting one. Husband used the gym every day and managed to get a good workout in. Breakfast was really good. Loads of choice. And delicious food. Never made it to the spa sadly. Weather was too nice and we didn’t want to miss any of it. Tip - to get up and down to resort centre, go right, follow the bend round and there are stairs behind the bins. This was the most forgiving way up and down. Fab stay, we would return ❤️

Amazing hotel booked last minute. Really peaceful and our tge way from the hustle and bustle of main centre . Had amazing areas to sit and chill. We had a private terrace with double jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice but would probably not go half board again as main meals weren't the best that's just my opinion. The staff can't do enough and we found the receptionist (Loretta I think her name was) to be so helpful going out of her way for us. They made our anniversary really special. Definitely going back
