What an immaculate fantastic hotel with great views for couples and families. A great find in Puerto Rico - although the walk up and down the hill to the town and europa centre kept us fit for the holiday- staff were very attentive rooms clean and well serviced. We loved the pour your own beer wine soft drinks teas coffees and water for the all inclusive option. Toasties and pizzas at the pool snack bar were amazing

Oh my gosh....what a place to go! The staff! The Location! The food! The rooms! The service! The people! The weather! The atmosphere! The fun! The leisure! BOOK BOOK BOOK!!!!! Had a great time and clming back April!! I cannot fault 1 thing about this place. Pure perfection

Fantastic hotel and I’m not sure why this has received the odd bad review . We have stayed in many good hotels 5* and 4* but this hotel has everything . Great staff throughout the hotel Great pools which are heated Entertainment very good for the kids Food very good and plenty of it all day long . No need to panic with sunbeds ,we stayed over the Xmas / new year holidays and the hotel was at full capacity but still plenty of beds . Great views of the sea throughout the hotel . Rooms very clean and spacious we stayed in a junior suite TV has you tube Netflix etc etc Beds very comfortable. If you’re bringing kids this is the place to bring them.

Me and my family stayed at Servatur Puerto Azul for a week in AUGUST, and we can all say that we had an outstanding time at this beautiful hotel. Firstly, as we walked into this hotel, I was so impressed because the hotel looked so fresh and modern, it definitely had a relaxing vibe to it! It's worth adding that when you enter, the walkway with the calming water fountain is spectacular. The lobby/reception area was very clean and very welcoming. As we checked in, it was a very fast process, it seemed like they wanted to brush us off to our room as quickly as possible, we arrived at the hotel at 9:00pm! I believe that the Reception staff needed to be a bit more attentive and welcoming. In addition, because it was the evening, we were given these 2 big boxes of food which we were grateful for, however the food in the box was stale-not the best start to a 4 STAR hotel. As we walked to our room, we saw children climbing up the slides, when they shouldn't have been, this was a bit of a disappointment to see as me and my family came to the conclusion during our stay that there are no substantial rules at night time! We were on Floor Level 1, meaning that we had to take 2 lifts down. (Room number 1104), and the alleyway to our room was completely silent and it seemed a bit abandoned. As we stepped into our room, we felt that the room was pleasant, nothing much more to say about it other than we had to make our own bed as we were a family of three, and one person had to sleep on the sofa bed. This wasn't really an issue for us at all, but it was a hassle considering that this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel! We then decided to go for a little drink at the pool bar, next to the evening entertainment and it was chaos, adults screaming-clearly drunk, kids in the pool past 12 am and the staff did nothing about it, this definitely was not the first impression that we were expecting in general. On the first day, me and my family thought that it would be better to change rooms as we collectively thought that it would be better to be in a position where there were more people/families around. We were moved to room number 2609 (Floor 2) which was much better! We went for breakfast, and that was OK, some food options were cold but I must say that the fruit section was great, I loved the wide variety of bread too! I must mention that the food for LUNCH and DINNER was outstanding, so many different options available and we could always find something to eat. The photo attached in my review shows the wonderful TEX MEX meal that I had for dinner one night, it was so tasty! On the other hand, the food in the Restaurant needs to be signed better, as one of my family members ate meat accidentally when they are a vegetarian! Now on to everyone's favourite bit- the pool area. It cannot be denied that we were shocked as to how GREAT the pool area was. The water slides were exhilarating and great fun! Superb hotel for the kids, great location we wanted for nothing. Thoroughly enjoyable experience food and staff brilliant. Clean was tidy hospital standard would be an understatement as it is kept to such a high standard. The location is perfect on top of the hill overlooking the small beach/ harbour and the full panoramic view of the sea. Stayed at the Gloria Palace earlier in the year which was good but tired looking compared to the Puerto Azul

We had a Lovely big Junior Suite room, nice outside balcony overlooking the beach / town, lots of food choice in the all inclusive restaurant. Great pools, clearly recently refurbished to a high standard. 700 steps down to the beach, but the taxis take cards and is ~€6 each way.
