hotel was basic, but do not go all inclusive, the food is to cold, not 1 meal is edible, customer complained to reception with no success, no alternative food oir refund offered, management was no hep whatsoever and would not co-operate with the travel agent. this is against food hygiene,

The apartments are fine cleaned every day no complaints there , but the dinning room is shambolic, been here for 6 days now and haven't been able to eat as a family once , it's like a school canteen with rows of tables and a free for all, not big enough for the amount of guests, definitely not worth going all inclusive.

Arrival Reception was basic but the lady working was polite and gave us all the info we needed. No help when complaint was made (see rooms) ROOMS This spoilt our weeks break! The stench of drains was so bad we had to close the bathroom door and open the bathroom window. This meant that when we got up there were various bugs and flies to move, an entire trail of ants graced us with their presence one morning! I did complain but despite saying this wasn’t normal and the engineer would look nothing seemed to happen! We also ran out of hot water with every shower we had!! The unit in the bathroom was rusted and wobbly. Hairdryer was good! We got stuck in a dingy corner in room 21B - no sun (which means nothing dries so putting on wet bikinis in the morning), almost shared patio with the person next door, mopped floors in the morning which stayed wet and slippy most of the day due to there being not even one drop of sun ever. Kitchen extremely basic so if you’re thinking of cooking this may not be the place for you! All electrics worked well though. The cleaners do their best and that shows, washing up is even done daily, so hats off to them! POOL AREA Very dated, worn, damage in parts. A shame because if looked after it could be a nice area. Sunbeds look worn and dirty. Chairs worn and ripped. Just not a good look all in all. It was kept clean though. RESTAURANT/BAR I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s more like a 1980’s conservatory. The staff do the best they can with what they have but this place needs some money throwing at it! The water didn’t taste right so I stuck with bottles. FOOD Yeh the reviews are right, it’s cold! There’s a microwave so I pinged my breakfast! The food tasted ok, but again that’s because I stuck with things I knew, chips, pizza, sausage etc. and a LOT of fruit (thank god for the fruit) ENTERTAINMENT We went out. We saw the entertainment and we went out! It’s just shocking. A man dressed badly as a woman singing average karaoke at best. Just terrible! They played every hand ball game for the Scandinavians but when we asked for the Manchester United game suddenly they couldn’t put it on, there’s a lot of favouritism towards Scandinavians it seems, everything seemed centred towards them. OUT AND ABOUT We mainly went to the Europa centre because we know the place and enjoy it. Best places are Bullerbar (stunning views and great sunset from here, plus €1 a pint) Temple Bar, Blarney Stone and Jamaica Inn. Get to Chester’s Beach Club too! I would not come back to this hotel. It’s been a terrible experience. I’m a fair reviewer and not a moaner, but I couldn’t find much positive here at all! I hate to be saying this but spend a few quid extra and go somewhere else, you’ll thank me!

Well you get what you pay for. It’s a cheap/budget hotel with all your needs . Food is good but not enough choice. Some of the rooms don’t have good views but most of them do. The hotel staff are polite and will do anything for you. Nice pools with plenty of sun-beds. Parking is hit and miss, but you can always pay for a bay. Put it this way my partner has been here 6 times and myself 3 times. We come for break with sun and rest. To those that have complained about the hotel. It’s a budget hotel so if you want more pay more.

Myself and my parter have stayed in this hotel 3 times prior to this visit and brought our 5 month old daughter for our first family holiday- well this trip and experience has been SHOCKING. On the first day the wardrobe door wont open close Then the next day the bathroom window fell off and hit me Then one of the single beds gave way while i was feeding my daughter a bottle and then the bathroom door handle fell off. After all of these i ask how i put a complaint in and the receptionist looked at my blankly and shrugged all i stated was not exactly safe for a baby is it? “We hand room over in perfect condition it is your fault these things are happening” A smashed glass yes i would take blame for but how possible is the window falling off or bed giving way my fault. I totally get - you get what you pay for and you can’t expect much from apartments that arent as pricey as others but i also didn’t expect the window to fall off cut my hand ,the bed to break ,the door handle , the wardrobe etc And how obnoxious and rude the receptionist was to me about it is horrible we wont be returning this time round

On arrival, it was a very friendly greeting. All staff friendly. Rooms amazing for self-catering and inclusive. Hair dryer and towels provided bedding changed every couple of days, maids very efficient. Washing up liquid provided . Supermarket 2 mins walk. Shops and pubs close by at the europa centre. Beach 15 minute walk all down hill, great views. Taxi up or down 5 euros. Entertainment is OK 4 days a week. 3 nights, the drag artist, Mon karaoke 🎤 Weds Drag artist show Fri Karaoke 🎤 Sat live singer with organ.(laughable as he doesn't know the correct words) which makes it even more entertaining 😀. Food great variety for all something for everyone. 2 pools big enough to cool you down from the sun 🌞 only downside is that they take the all-inclusive band off you at 11 am on your day of departure.

Just got back from a week at this hotel. We went self catering. Apartments were clean and modern and had everything we needed. Yes hot water is an issue doesn't last long but weather was hot so we coped! Bit of a trek down a very steep gradient to get to amodores beach but we knew that anyway and enjoyed the walk Always got a taxi back up!. Walked to puerto rico beach using the steps and boy legs ached at the bottom but good exercise. Drinks are cheap in the resort 2.50 a pint and vodka coke is about 5 euros. Wouldn't recommend all inclusive as meals are cheap out and entertainment is none existent and round the pool too quiet for us. We prefer the noise and hustle of the beach

Small hotel, not expensive, you get what you pay for. We are three friends travelling, got a to store apt, one sleeping on couch. Nice and clean, a bit worn kitchen, good beds, hard on sofa even with matress on top. No A/C - not a problem in october but will be in hotter part of the year. «Restaurant» is a cantina, no luxury but decent breakfast with good options. Small pools, a bit crowded by the bar, more quiet at the other one. Nice walk to Amadores beach and just minutes to Europe center with bars and restaurants and play area for the kids. No luxury, but tidy, friendly staff and spacious room.
