We just returned at the weekend from another amazing stay in our home from home Marina Suites for my birthday 🥰 everything was just perfect as always, we had the best room ever a Premier Suite on the 9th floor we just loved it, always had a select suite before on the 8th or 9th floor but this room topped it for us 💕 these rooms are slightly smaller but have everything you require, bedroom has the best view over the marina with the huge windows, loved going to sleep & waking up to the amazing views, patio doors from the bedroom to the balcony as well as patio doors from the lounge area, the balcony was fab nice & secluded, with it being the 9th floor you have the lounger on the balcony which is lovely, and no one walking past our room which I loved, we need this room every trip now 💕 Reception staff are all lovely and nothing is too much trouble always made to feel very welcome, pool bar staff are fantastic and make you feel very special, we had the most relaxing week just chilling on our sunbeds reading & having a few drinks 🍺🥂 We enjoyed every meal out at night we love Taj Palace at the marina food was amazing as are the staff Puskar Mudvhari, Mamma Chef was delicious, Bistro Iberico at Mogan mall for burgers, we had a takeaway pizza one night from El Barco ristorante pizzeria Puerto RICO at the marina was delicious, the BBQ on a Monday night is fab too in the hotel, hope everyone there now is having the best time, or if your going soon enjoy, you won’t be disappointed, we are back again in 11 weeks can’t wait 😎😎

Vistamar is in a great position with sea views from virtually everywhere in the hotel. Fantastic place to catch the sunsets. Was slightly worried about the stomach bug reviews on here but we were all ok. Hotel is very clean and we never heard anyone complaining about being ill from the food. For us personally not enough chicken and beef on the menu. A lot of pork and liver which we are not keen on. Burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches available all night in the sports bar which is great for after a night out. Would say the smoking areas need to be more clearly marked. I was told off in quite an aggressive manner for smoking on the balcony in the sports bar by staff member. Overall a great hotel with friendly staff. I have received an email from riu since returning saying they are going to take 400 euros from my credit card for a no show???i have sent them my confirmation sign in email i received but have had no reply from them so i am left worrying that they are going to take another 400 euros from my credit card.

We have just returned from an amazing 2 week stay and had a premium apartment on the top floor of Yaizasol and from arriving we had the warmest of greetings from hotel reception, all the staff have been wonderful. The view from our balcony was amazing. We only had 1 wine glass in the apartment but the was sorted instantly. We also broke the bathroom glass soap dispenser the first day and again this was replaced even though we offered to pay, no charge was issued. The apartment was spotless as were all communal areas, both the hotel pool, our apartment pool, the rooftop sun terraces on both buildings along with the hot tubs. It was perfect right down to a birthday message and chocolates for me. We have already booking again for next year and I would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone. Thank you, you made our holiday perfect. There is a little shop opposite the apartments where you can buy basics otherwise you can go into town down the road a 15min walk or down the steps to the beach front, I counted 164 steps in total, 3 sets of steps from the hotel to the bay, 1st 100, 2nd 27 then a Walkway over the main road and another 37 steps then a short 10 minute walk to the beach. I have a bad knee and asthma but managed it both up and down without a problem for the whole fortnight often laden with shopping on the way back up, but taxi’s are plentiful from the stop near the spar.

When you go to Puerto Rico you know it’s a canyon so expect to spend time walking on hilly terrain and take good trainers for all the hills . The good thing we found about Montebello is there are access gates and different levels of the apartments this really cuts out some serious up hill walking . The room was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the very generous sun terraces/balcony’s are excellent for more private sunbathing if desired, but please note there is NO air conditioning this was a challenge for us as it was so hot, fans can be supplied if required at a small daily charge. The pool area(with free sun loungers) and bar which are spotlessly clean are lovely, the drinks and food were reasonably priced. The on site mini market was great for getting essential items without carrying them from the main centre. All the staff were super friendly and helpful . The apartments are only about a 5 min walk to the main shopping centre . Lots of bars and restaurants . We really enjoyed the Mogan centre which is the new shopping centre with every shop you can think of and excellent restaurants, The Tipsy Bee gastro bar has amazing food I would recommend the Ribs and homemade wedges . The main bus stop is a 5 min walk where we got the bus to Puerto de Mogan (Little Venice) which is a stunning place to visit . We would recommend the Montebello to anyone looking for a clean place handy to the shops. Please keep in mind the air conditioning as we stayed in Nov/Dec it wasn’t too bad but would be very challenging in peak summertime .

Excellent as always, our 9th stay at this hotel, lucky enough to get our favourite room of 117 with the whirlpool tub outside. This room is on the ground floor and leads straight out to the commercial center, which is a huge bonus for us. Arrived earlier than check in, but we were allowed access to our room straight away, slippers, bathrobes and fizzy drinks, Prosecco and water with snacks were all free in our room on arrival….. amazing facilities and staff. We booked the breakfast package and it was absolutely amazing for the small cost. Fresh pastry and bread, fruit, full cooked breakfast plus chefs cooked fresh pancakes and omelettes On request, all absolutely delicious….. have booked twice again for this year…. It’s our little piece of heaven ❤️❤️
