We are ******* Gold Members and have stayed at this property multiple times, but this visit was extremely disappointing. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and had informed the hotel in advance about this special occasion. Despite receiving several welcome emails, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the celebration in our room. At check-in, we were entitled to a complimentary upgrade if available. The supervisor, Nicole, and front desk staff, Susanna, refused to honor this benefit, even though a honeymoon room was available at the time. Their response was cold and dismissive, simply telling us we would have to pay if we wanted the upgrade. There was no effort to accommodate us, no attempt to make us feel valued, and no gesture of hospitality — even though this was our fifth stay at this property. The lack of professionalism and indifference shown by the staff ruined what was supposed to be a memorable celebration. Sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and unappreciated. For loyal guests and ******* Gold Members, this treatment is unacceptable. We are looking forward to staying at your hotel again. For our upcoming visit, we would prefer to be assisted at check-in by different staff members than last time, as we want to ensure the warm and professional experience we know your hotel is known for. While check-in could have been smoother, we were impressed by so many other aspects of the hotel. The restaurant and service staff were exceptional—warm, professional.

The only problem is that at the restaurants not all of the food is included they charge extra for steak and lobster they should state that on the food options

I have been to this property multiple times. The rooms are excellent. The all inclusive option has become worst over the years. Currently, there are restaurants and menu items that can’t be ordered under “all inclusive”. Also the alcohol included is very limited and cheap brands. They overcharge you for the non covered items. Internet access is limited in some areas of the hotel and in some rooms in the suites.

Great resort. The service is exceptional. Every person wants to do anything and everything to make your stay enjoyable, easy, and safe. They are focused on your comfort and always wanting to please. The heated infinity pools are amazing. The beach does have rocks so get swim shoes. Only two restaurants allow kids but they have kids club so parents can enjoy dinner at the other restaurants. Amazing experience. Highly recommend

My familly arrived and were told during check in at Garza Blanca’s lobby that they were not allowing us to stay at Garza Blanca and instead of the 2 bedroom panarama room I booked months in advance and prepaid for they were splitting us up and putting us in two 1 bedroom units in Mousai instead. Several different excuses for that were given to us in the three visits to the front desk to try to get what I booked; constuction noise from the new tower being built next to tower 4, then it was construction noise from remodeling of a Penthouse room, and then the manager told us Garza Blanca was having AC issues. Mousai is very nice but is a hip couples resort and we were intending a family trip, not a party resort. I would not have booked the trip had I known. We packed for 3 days intending to have the washer/dryer in the Garza Blanca room. We were not offered any compensation, refund, or future credit . Tafer owns other resorts in the area with 2 bedroom units- why were we not offered them? Since I can’t trust Tafer Resorts to not bait and switch our rooms we are forced to avoid Tafer properties in the future. Too bad since we have had 4 great stays at Tafer properties in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo
