When we arrived there, we were told that the room was unavailable. In the end the host arranges another hotel for us

This may be one of the best inn in Pulau Ketam. The owners are very friendly and explain very well about the check-in (you will need to get the key from their shop nearby 金振源). Overall, the room is clean; the beds and pillows are comfy; stable internet connection. They do provide the water dispenser in the facility. Totally recommended.
The few downsides are: 1) the sound proof during raining days are terrible (the noise is so loud - suggest for the owner to add ); 2) there is no elevator of course (so may be challenging for those with joint issue)

I'm not satisfied. I can't find the boss. I went to a disco downstairs until midnight and couldn't find the store! My head is going crazy.

A very clean and neat accommodation with well equipped room. There is a common area for dinning provided with kitchen utensils and free supply of filtered driniking water. The entry of the property was secured with security digital lock. The owner is operating a sundry shop nearby. He is friendly and helpful. A comfortable and pleasant accommodation situated right at the centre of the village, highly recommended for all.
