Generously sized accommodations
Impressive amenities
Perfect for family trips, this place offers all the amenities you need, just like an Airbnb. You'll find a cooker, pots and pans and cutlery readily available.
Conveniently located near a variety of dining options
Drawbacks
The staff had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging.
Upon our early arrival at around 11am, we found the reception area to be deserted. Along with other guests, we were left waiting at the counter, unsure of what to do. Finally, around 1pm, a receptionist appeared. However, rather than simply informing us that check-in was only possible after two, they made each guest wait in queue to deliver the same message. Upon returning to the reception at 2, we were informed that we had to wait an additional hour. This experience was quite unprofessional and made it challenging to enjoy other activities

Great location and very comfortable! The hotel staff have created a warm and welcoming environment with lots of cozy zones inside. Beautiful walking track around the lake out back. The only minor gripe I had was that the breakfast was mediocre and it got boring having the same spread every day, down to the types of fruit and drinks served. Staying at the hotel also ensures you get 30% off the ski lift and gear rental which was an added plus!

I recently stayed at Ramada Hotel and found it very convenient, especially with the free shuttle service provided. The shuttle runs from Jinbu Station to the hotel, as well as from the hotel to Yongpyong and Alpensia Ski Resorts. Just make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance —it's available on their website or at the reception counter.
The breakfast selection was decent. What I loved most was the convenience of the in-house ski rental shop. We could pick up our ski equipment and suits early and have it ready in our room, making it super easy to head straight to the ski resort the next day.
One area for improvement would be promoting other attractions in Pyeongchang, such as ice sculpture shows (if available) or other unique activities, to make the experience even more memorable.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

No bath towels provided, it is more like a long-stay condo hotel than a full service hotel.
The room is clean and with minimialistic design. The public area needs some refreshing, looks like a hotel from the 90s.
Onsen is great, kids friendly, conveniently connected to ski-rental and lifts.
Overall 4 out of 5.

It was perfect for going to the ski resort, and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so the location was good, and there was plenty of parking. However, there was only one hanger in the room, which was a little inconvenient. Still, I had a comfortable stay.

While looking for a travel destination that I could walk to with my mom, I came across the Kensington Hotel with its beautiful garden. Seriously, the different gardens still dazzle my eyes in the morning, lunch, and dinner!! I thought it would be different in each season, so I said let's come again!! I would 200% visit again❤️ After only seeing the tall buildings in Seoul, it was really healing to come to Pyeongchang where the mountains and the sky are beautifully in harmony!! There's also a kids' cafe and a swimming pool, so I think it's the best for families with children!!👍

Perfect
MMiomaoClean, comfortable bedding and very friendly boss.
On the weekend when it fell below zero, I was worried about the wind because it was a window. The floor was hot, so the accommodation was warm enough to be only in the bed, the shower room was hot, the sky was visible when lying down, and the electric curtain option was perfect for a camper!
Most of all, if you want to travel with the big middle/choice students these days, you need two double beds in the dormitory, so you can book two suites or two rooms. Here, you can rest in one place, which is also very good. The boss made an old-style small sledding rink between campers, and the second spent an exciting evening there! He prepared a lot like a sesame seed :)
Because I went to empty hands, I ate dinner with an additional 110,000 won, the quantity was also very rich, and the scallops and shrimp that came out with meat were also very delicious. Perfect to kimchi in soybean chili :)
It snowed a lot in the morning, so I left a lot of pretty pictures and the breakfast was good. Next time I'm going to go to spring/summer/autumn and enjoy the wonderful nature more!
제제인BI was worried, but it was so good than I thought!
It was very close and used five family members for six people.
You can use six beds on the first floor.
The boiler on the floor is a little weak, but it's a spit.
I slept warmly !!
The hot water comes out well :)
AAnonymous UserFamily of 5 booked 2 rooms. Excellent housekeeping. Allow us to have connecting rooms. It was fun for us. One double room has bath tub. Room was warm and cosy during winter. Very happy.
GGuest UserThe 60-pyeong type was clean, spacious, and nice. Since cooking is not allowed, there was no bad smell in the room, so it felt more comfortable. There is no shampoo or conditioner attached to the bathroom, only soap, so if you need it, you have to bring it separately. Highly recommended for large families or people traveling in large groups.
현현묵I regularly visit Pyeongchang for a conference, and the price is always cheaper than the nearby Ramada or Alpensia, and I am very satisfied with the stay for a business trip. The location and facilities are minimal. Thank you.
ЕЕWe like to stay in this hotel. Have breakfast in a cozy cafe. The rooms are warm, clean and equipped with kitchen and shower. For me, the truth has only one disadvantage: in the corridors of the hotel, the weather is very cold, and in the shower close to the room, it is also very cold and not very comfortable. Due to underfloor heating, only the room is heated. We booked a room with 2 tatami mats. The wall felt cool when we slept, but because the floor was very hot and the bed itself was very hot, the bones had been injured the next night, so we changed to another room, a larger one The room (even warmer) has a bed and tatami mats. . I think this is the best choice. When you have a European bed and a Korean tatami, you will feel all the ”charm” of Korean sleep and be familiar with us. It can be said that it feels different. Not far from the elevator, cafes and shops are nearby. Have a good rest!
GGuest UserClean and good. However, the parking lot is narrow, so if you come late, you have to find a place to park your car. I'm hard because you're guided by the front desk, but I believe it's probably tired ~ There's a mini kitchen so you can cook simple ~
LLandersDefinitely a plus point being suites in Alpensia. My wife likes the wash basin in the suite very much. Bought lots of hot chocolate, instant coffee and ice creams into the room and enjoyed every moment eating in the suite. Settle my toilet bowl flushing problem immediately and would thank them for this, faced no problem in the cold winter .. thank you IHG for the setting
GGuest UserI was really tired after skiing, but the room was so nice that I rested well.
The boiler was great and the bed was comfortable, which was nice.
It's a pity that the auxiliary facilities are under maintenance.
