Pyhtään jussila

This charming log cabin is located on the banks of the Kymi River, just 3 km from the village of Pyhtää.

The cabin features two bedrooms, one on the ground floor and another on the upper floor, both furnished with double beds. The living room/kitchen includes a sofa bed that accommodates two guests. Additionally, the loft has a 140 cm wide mattress. However, the cabin is rented out for a maximum of 6 guests. The wood-heated sauna provides a soothing and relaxing steam experience. The dressing room includes a WC and a washing machine.

The air source heat pump ensures warmth in winter and cooling in summer as needed.

The terrace features a gas grill, perfect for preparing meals such as post-sauna snacks. You can also take a refreshing dip in the Kymi River. The swimming area has a soft, gently deepening bottom, and you can access the water from the dock. A public beach on the opposite side of the river is accessible by boat (approx. 600 m) or car (3–4 km). The cabin is 110 km from Helsinki and 30 km from Kotka. In Kotka, the Kotka Maritime Festival, Finland’s second-largest summer event, takes place at the turn of July and August. The city also hosts many other summer events.

Nearby attractions include the Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge Museum, about 25 km away. Varissaari Island is about 30 km away and can be reached by ferry from Sapokka Harbour. Kaunissaari Island, about 50 km away, also has convenient ferry connections from Sapokka Harbour.
