Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino

Our 3rd visit to The Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino. So I can definitely say we love the resort. The food at all the restaurants is excellent. Room is very comfortable. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. We are here for 2 weeks and what is spoiling it is other guests. Last night at dinner by the beach we had to listen to the next door tables child’s cartoon on an IPad (no headphones for the child). And today on the beach the woman on the next sun lounger has been on a conference call for the last 3 hours with no headphones. It’s spoiling our enjoyment of a beautiful resort. The management might like to consider asking guests on check in to use headphones rather than loud speaker in public areas around the complex. I want to listen to the sea and relax on the beautiful beach not a work call that’s not mine.

- Overall, property is peaceful, beautiful, relaxing. - The vibe is natural, not commercial - Overall food and property quality was quite good. - The manager Enrico was quite impressive - authentic, caring, detailed, proactive. Really went out of the way to make it a special experience. - GM Raul made a strong impression - Housekeeper Kismeta was really warm and kind, very much from the heart. - In August, it was way too full. It was basically impossible to book a spa treatment - Pricing was admittedly very high, and felt overpriced. - Did a great job with bike rental and corresponding organization - Buggy service was on time, attentive, impressively coordinated - The cold plunge was a big plus - Overall, a great stay, though not the best at peak season in August

Beautiful hotel, great food, stunning location and lovely staff. We had a bay view junior suite which had a stunning view and was very well appointed. Breakfast included which was nice. Can’t wait to return and try a pool villa next time.

This is an exceptionally beautiful property in a rock star location overlooking Navarino bay. Contemporary design with high end finishes and many key staff who are highly trained and friendly. Loved it and would definitely come back. However - service is very patchy notably at breakfast. Slow food and orders are often incomplete or late. Simply to get a coffee top up required one staff member to send another with an iPad. And then wait ten minutes. One day coffee arrived after breakfast was eaten and simply ordering and receiving extra toast took several requests. The manager overseeing the breakfast service seemed more concerned with looking like Andy Garcia in Mama Mia 😁 than actually speeding up service. That notwithstanding this is one of the best hotels in Greece and Europe as a whole.

A wonderful stay. MO continue to hit the bullseye wth their newer resorts, wonderful location and property, coupled with MO's usual high levels of service, comfort and hospitality. The staff were attentive and friendly and the choice of restaurants excellent. Our room ( Pool Villa) was wonderful.

We had an amazing experience at the Mandarin Oriental. The hotel exceeded our expectations — with incredible sea views and a refined atmosphere. All the staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and detail-oriented. We had great lunch and dinner at Tahir restaurant, the food is delicious, the staff is great. They also offer beach barbecues! Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. We already can’t wait to come back!

The buildings and landscaping are integrated into the existing cascading hills and offer a view of the Ionian Sea and the sunsets are stunning. The quality of the hotel areas and rooms are what you would expect from MO hotel and they have adapted the design expertly to match a beachfront resort. The amenities available are excellent from having your own e bike to a well equipped gym and spa. However all the above needs good service and this is where this hotel excels from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave . All the staff have been well trained as normal for MO however the genuine interest they had for you and delivering your needs was exceptional. We had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino. The staff were outstanding, so kind and attentive, and they went out of their way to make everything easy for us. They were fantastic with children, warm, patient, and genuinely thoughtful. The service was seamless from start to finish, and the whole team made us feel completely looked after and at home. Beautiful setting, fantastic hospitality, and an overall experience that exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

Having travelled all over the world, I can honestly say that the service here, led by the ebullient Alexia M, was the best we ever experienced. The views, the food, the golf, the smiles… I will surely return!
