Mylos Apartments

We love this place so much it’s our 2nd two week holiday here. Roi is a fabulous host, sharing local knowledge, giving us great recommendations and making us feel very welcome and comfortable. She has lent us beach paraphernalia, done our washing kept the apartment immaculately clean with frequent changes of bedding, towels and throws. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a short walk to the sea front where there are restaurants, bars, deck chairs and umbrellas and there is a general store just across the road which stocks an eclectic assortment of food, drink, toiletries, kitchen and beach accessories and excellent coffee. The area is great for sea swimming in the clear blue sheltered waters, for walking and observing wildlife as there is a lagoon nearby where we’ve seen wild flamingoes. We’ve also seen jackells and heard their earily beautiful calls to one another.

Fabulous. The best host anyone could have, we were very well looked after. We had well equipped simple ground floor apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fine for putting together snacks and breakfast, with great restaurants 5 mins walk away we didn’t want to cook much. Rio even did some laundry for us. Rio told us the best beaches to go to to suit diffferent wind conditions, places to eat and castles to visit. We stayed for 12 long happy days of glorious sunshine. We hired a car, parking at Mylos was easy, however shops, restaurants and beaches are a short walk away. We hope to return in the spring.
