Very enjoyable peaceful stay for two nights in a studio apartment 15 or so minutes walk from Methoni. Good kitchen, good toiletries provided, comfy bed and private spacious terrace to sit out. Peaceful pool area with comfortable sun loungers, a small bar which we did not use as it closed at 2pm being late season. Breakfast you can pick your choices and the time delivered to room which was fresh and plentiful. Nicky was a good host during our stay.

What an excellent find!! Clean rooms with full sized fridge/freezer, microwave and hob. All rooms in the two storey new building that is Abeloessa had a balcony. There is a large pool and a bar. All in a quiet area of Methoni. Excellent service from both the manager, Niki, and the cleaner/barlady/everything in between, Angelina. The breakfasts were exceptional and plentiful enough to carry over to lunch! It may not be the cheapest accommodation but I’d say definitely value for money and we were sad to leave!

My wife and I spent a fortnight at Abeloessa from 8 - 22 May 2024 in Room No.1, a superior queen apartment on the ground floor. We had a nice view of the garden and the pool from our covered terrace. Every morning we had a very substantial and delicious breakfast brought to us by the lovely Angelika who also cleaned our apartment on a daily basis. She was available throughout the day at the pool bar too. Niki provided any support required at reception every day and was very helpful throughout our stay. She gave us recommendations for restaurants in Methoni, Finikounda, Koroni and Pylos when we were out and about in our hired car. Abeloessa was in a perfect position for us, being slightly out of Methoni. A safe road took us down to the sea in around 5 minutes and the coast road, with lovely views of the bay and castle, took us into Methoni in a further 5 minutes. We highly recommend Abeloessa for a holiday in Methoni.

So sad to have just returned home from the most wonderful week at Abeloessa. These new apartments have been the dreamiest location for us for a lovely family holiday in Methoni. We had the loft suite which was so beautiful, very traditional Greek design combined with all the modern comforts and complimentary Greek wine, olive oil and bottles of water on our arrival was such a lovely touch. The kitchen and bathroom areas are so well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras. The beds are very comfy! From the moment we arrived Niki was helpful and attentive with excellent channels of communication. The breakfast each morning, which is served to you on your balcony, was a real highlight! A wonderful selection each morning and a perfect way to start the day. Such a quiet peaceful location, perfect as a base for exploring this beautiful area. Our only disappointment was that we were not staying longer!

Abeloessa Abeloessa is an excellent, quite new & fantastic place, one of those rare gems that really exceeds your expectations. Niki (the owner) and staff are there for you 24/7 and all are very kind and very welcoming ! At arrival Niki gave us an upgrade to app.no 5 which was an amazing large 2 floor apartment with a great view from the big balcony, actually all apartments have a good view and a big terrace and all are very nice decorated! Also the beds are super comfortably The breakfast was more than enough, one of the best breakfast we ever had!! Every day Niki made me a yummie Margarita which I enjoyed by the swimming pool! The location is just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Methoni and only a 5 minute drive to a very nice beach with an amazing Beachbar (Zanzibar)! Parking is free, safe, and on own property with a closed gate.. As I said we found the friendliest and most attentive staff. The bottles of local wine and olive oil were a great touch. We highly recommend to stay here for your visit at Methoni and if we ever return to Peloponnesos we definitely will stay here again! Very positive experience from the moment of booking to the moment of checkout. Excellent service, neat and clean facilities. Our ground floor room for a family of 4 was very satisfactory, spacious and clean, beautifully decorated with all the comforts (e.g. air conditioning in both rooms). Large and comfortable balcony near the pool. The breakfast served on trays in the apartment was very good in quality and variety for young and old: sandwiches, spreads, salads, eggs and omelets, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. The pool area is also beautiful. Very good location close to the center of Methoni and to many beaches, villages and attractions. If I had to find a negative, it would be the lack of a window in the bathroom, it only has ventilation, which always favors humidity and unpleasant odors. I would recommend it and would happily come back at any opportunity.

Wir waren hier für 5 Tge und haben es sehr genossen. Neues kleines Hotel, Zimmer modern und gut ausgestattet, im Bad fehlte leider der Geruchsverschluss am Waschbecken - wie oft in Griechenland eben, daher manchmal muffelig. Ausstattung und Design echt super, dazu nettes Gastgeschenk. Toller Pool. Wir waren in der Vorsaison, da ist die Bar nur bis 14:00 auf. Sehr sauber sind tägl. Housekeeping! Frühstück gut - aber Achtung: es gibt eine Liste zum Angeben der Wünsche, dann kommt aber doch irgendwie immer was anderes, wenn man das verschmerzen kann ist Frühstück für griech. Verhältnisse top. Wir haben es als witzige Überraschung genommen… Wir sind abends zu Fuß in die Stadt gegangen zum Essen. Unbedingt auch Burg entdecken. Wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen. Uns hat hier nichts gefehlt
