True Beach Resort in Marsa Alam has the potential to become one of the best resorts in the region. It is a stunning, well-maintained, and high-quality complex, but a few minor details still need refinement to reach its full potential. The Highlights: Quality and Comfort - Appearance and Maintenance: The resort is beautiful, new, and extremely well-kept. The facilities and grounds are immaculate. - Dining: The food quality is absolutely superb—no complaints whatsoever regarding the all-inclusive culinary offerings. - Rooms: The rooms are excellent, well-designed, and comfortable. We had a Swim-Up Room with Sea View, which we highly recommend for the visual appeal and location. - Location: The beachfront setting is fantastic. Areas for Improvement - Language Barrier: A notable point is that the staff speaks fluent German, but communication in English can be challenging. This may pose difficulties for non-German speaking guests. - A La Carte Policy: It is disappointing that a surcharge applies to certain dishes in the specialty restaurants. Honestly, these specific dishes are not worth the extra cost. Crucial Tip: Sun Exposure and Wind While the location is top-notch, the immediate area currently lacks surrounding structures, meaning it can be quite windy on the sunbeds. Sunlight on Terraces (Key Tip!): The orientation of the rooms is crucial for sun lovers: - The Sea View rooms are situated such that the sun leaves the terrace entirely after 12 PM. - Recommendation: If you prioritize sunlight on your terrace throughout the afternoon, do not book a Sea View room. Instead, try to select a room on the north side with a terrace facing south or west. Conclusion Overall, this is a truly excellent resort with incredible foundations. The quality of the rooms, the food, and the setting are fantastic. We anticipate that in the next 2 to 3 years, once the few service and policy kinks are fully ironed out, this resort will be perfectly refined and an absolutely essential destination to visit.

We had a wonderful week at True Beach! The hotel is quite small for the local standards and this was just great as it was quiet. The beach is very long and wide, the water was very clear, there was plenty space all day long by the beach or pools. We stayed in the family area. Our room was large, with a beautiful view, well appointed and cleaned very well by Mohamed. He also did a decoration with the towels every day for our daughter, she was very happy about it. The food is very good, the restaurant is right by the beach, the staff is very friendly all over the hotel. We enjoyed Taha on the beach as well as Gelany by the ice cream section in the main restaurant. The entertainment staff was also very nice and no pushy vendors on the beach. Overall everybody works hard with a smile. We snorkeled just 5 min on foot up the beach, it's a protected area and you pay 10EUR per person for 3 hours and you have 2 nice wall reefs to discover right from the beach. It was very nice and the place also has a dive center, it's called Marsa Nakari, the staff there was great an helpful too. Third time in Marsa and we will be back to this hotel.
