As a hotelier I will write the most honest review . We are 2 family stayed 7 nights in this hotel . Generally the location , the beach , pool were all perfect . Close to the airport and to central shops . About hotel- old , Arabic styled rooms with private balcony . Check in time receptionst young guy named Ahmed gave us nice room initially . He was helpful . But after 2 days AC stopped working and it was hard to sleep at night . Asked engineering however we had to wait for 2 days untill he fixes it. So I requested to change room in ground floor another Ahmed with glasses was happy to change our room. Reception team will try to help you out but unfortunately other departments are slow . Because of many guests I guess . About food I wouldn’t say we are satisfied , were very careful about meat, salads and fruits they might be expired and with smell already . Mango are given only 2 pieces . It’s mango country but hotel owner decided to econom maybe. About drinks and alcohol it’s limited . I didn’t see 5 star service to be honest . You feel uncomfortable to ask something from restaurant staffs cause they look at you in angry way. They are all busy it’s understandable but still . Overall everyone wants tips from you I do understand as local people get very low salary and everyone trying to cheat you with money . Spa is paid . But it must be free I guess . We tried to be positive not to ruin our holiday so weren’t focusing on minor things . Everyone’s holiday individually . But about food , must be careful most importantly.

I have rated this hotel 3 stars at best. We were a family of 3, 2 adults and our 16 year old daughter. We booked this holiday based on the trip advisor 4.5 rating. How disappointed were we! Pros Lovely large rooms, with a fridge, comfy beds (3 singles) .2 heated pools, which you definitely need if visiting in feb. Beautiful beach with fantastic snorkeling in the shallows or off the jetty. Food in alacarte restaurants were very good. All staff were friendly. Grounds were amaculate, no rubbish and clean. Cons Hotel is 3 star max and is very dated. The main eating area isn't very good. Food cold, people just pushing in and grabbing stuff. Breakfast was probably the worst meal of all with regards to choice. All Inclusive drinks were oķ but they came in tiny plastic cups that give you 2/3 sips. This was both pool bar and main bar areas. Entertainment team really tried, but everything was not in English and they struggled to translate anything to us. The shower in our room was very old and just ran cold. We complained to reception and was told to run it for atleast 15 mins before it goes warm. We did this and nothing...... they really weren't interested in helping us. You can only get free WiFi in the reception area. We opted for 7 days at $10 per device. Overall, we were extremely lucky with the weather being 24/25°c each day with a beautiful location. We were the only English people in the hotel with the rest being mainly Russian. The occupancy was probably on 30% full. I could imagine it being extremely busy at peak times. I would definitely return to sharm again, just not this hotel.

Just spent a wonderful week at this resort. I is so clean everyone works so hard to keep it this way. The hotel is a little tired and we had some annoying little problems with the room key and the size of a beer [not up to English standards ]. The main thing that put me off was the aggressive sales staff around the pool and on the beach. Pushy is putting it mildly relentless is still not strong enough. Even an hour before we left to come home I was being harassed to have a treatment in the spa. Only one of the trip sales people went out of his way to be helpful and supportive, thank you Aladin..Fharty at the pool bar was an angel he works so hard. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond a great service. THE RESTURANT MANAGER WELCOMED US AT EVERY MEAL BRINGING TEA AND DRINKS. THE BOYS IN THE RESTURANT WERE Friendly and helpful even though we did not speak the same language we felt like we knew them. We met the new manager on the last day who asked for feedback positive and negative, he has great plans for the resort and I believe he will bring great change. Woops nearly forgot the alacart restaurants great food and even greater staff who made us most welcome. Thankyou to all of you for the wonderful memories

Stayed at the Rehana in December 2024. Reception: The staff were friendly and helpful despite English not necessarily their strong point. It was a pleasant surprise to get a room upgrade to an executive suite on arrival. Room: Large with comfortable bed and fridge (only stocked with water). There is tea making facilities. There are some shops outside the hotel complex for more items eg coffee. But beware I was ripped off buying coffee and milk (£14). The room had a fantastic sea view – great to wake up to. Note Wi-Fi for rooms is an extra charge. Restaurant: Again, staff very friendly and helpful. Downside is the food was very monotonous. Same breakfast and evening meals for the 10 days. It was also a struggle to get the egg guy at breakfast to make an omelette. I only saw one person succeed during my time there. Not much in the way of snacks during the day. Popcorn and ice cream available in the afternoon. Looks like there are snack areas but not open during this time. Pool and beach: Plenty of sunbeds. You can get a fresh towel each day. Pools weren’t too busy, or the beach. Quite easy to get a sunbed. The week after Christmas was going to be very busy, so this might be different then. Drinks: Small plastic cups. Beer very scarce and rationed. They don’t know how to poor it either. Spirits available but limited. Wine was only available in the restaurant. Tasted like it was watered down though. Overall, not too bad of a stay. It is worth considering if you are not too fussy about repetitious meals and alcohol being in short supply.

Arrived late evening. There was a bar open with music that loud it would awaken passengers from their slumber on overhead flights. You will not get drunk here. Glasses are disposable plastic. More like a shot glass than a pint. The beer is alright, the spirits are shocking, unless you are stripping paint.  At the Pool Bar and the Beach Bar, same deafening music and disposable shot glass rules apply. Music is 80s ballads on an incredibly small loop. Thumbs up to Fathy & his little mate at the pool bar. Meals at the dining room catered more for the Russian guests than Western. Best meal choices are from the balcony chefs, awesome kebabs. Shout out to Hoosan in the dining room, great service. The lobby bar is more civilised with glass rather than plastic and no deafening din. Hanna was a great host. Sometimes the TV showed Premier League. Bedroom was large but dated. There was no double bed, no hot water, sheets had seen better days, but a clean room courtesy of cleaner Mo. Take $US or Sterling, nobody wants £Egytian, not even State run shops (top-tip, DO NOT go on the "free" city tour). The Salesmen around the complex are relentless, like locusts, selling spas, trips, massages, haircuts, facials and even sand, although "Sandman" was great! Be firm as they are not put off with a no. Nevertheless, had a good break in the sunshine hence 4 overall. Would I return? Unlikely. In short, 5* grounds, 3* bedroom, 3* food, 1* spirits and measures, 5* staff.

Im Writing This Review purely for one specific worker who went far above and beyond for us as a family during our stay at the rehana beach hotel resort. Abdalmaged in the restaurant, faultlessly provided phenomenal customer service every single visit to the restaurant , helped us with any queries and questions we had, especially with the resort being 99% Russian and 1% English, it presented a huge barrier for us, he made this so much easier for us and his level of care and Compassion for us all was outstanding. The actual resort itself is stunning and I thank all those at rehana hotel who catered and looked after us during our stay. Also thankyou to the lad in the Italian restaurant he was also very professional x From Danielle Jack Sean And Simona. Xx
