This was a very pleasant surprise. The 300 yuan room could provide an experience that is only possible in hotels costing more than 1,500 yuan. I happened to stay at this hotel and asked the front desk. It turned out that it just opened last month. The hotel has a nostalgic design, from the lobby, floor lounge, to the rooms, every detail runs through the same design language. Since I am afraid of the smell of cigarettes, I asked the very nice lady at the front desk if there was a non-smoking room when I checked in. Unexpectedly, the lady was very considerate and offered to take me to the room to let me see if I was satisfied with the environment. As a result, there was no peculiar smell in the room and it was very clean and hygienic. And when I asked the front desk about the breakfast arrangements, the supervisor next to me gave me a breakfast coupon. Although the breakfast cost only 30 yuan, this arrangement was very thoughtful. Regarding the room, I have always been very picky about it, even a little bit of a cleanliness freak. I basically don't consider hotels downstairs for 1,000 yuan. This time, since I arrived in Qingyuan very late, I found a room that was close. Since it was newly opened, there were no stains in the room, the room had no odor and was dry (many low-grade hotels have humid and odorous air if the air conditioner is not set to a very cold temperature). The room floor is a designer wooden floor, as clean as home, and all the furniture is wooden design. The shower and toilet were very clean with no water stains. The towels are all white, soft and clean. Overall, this room is very comfortable and cozy 👍🏼 Breakfast is served buffet style. For 30 yuan, the variety of breakfast is definitely not as many as in big hotels, but it is enough and tastes good. Moreover, the dining area is equipped with wooden tables and chairs, which feels quite warm and the environment is very clean. The staff greeted me with a smile when I entered and left the restaurant, which was a great feeling. After breakfast, I went to the lobby to buy coffee, and the front desk even gave me the coffee. Don’t we need to make money anymore? 😅The lobby has a great sense of design. It is a nice experience to sit in a chair and enjoy a coffee next to a row of bookcases. In summary, I have stayed in Gong Heyuan's yacht-style rooms several times when I came to Qingyuan because the rooms were clean and hygienic (but their front desk service attitude was very poor). But after staying at this Zhefei, I will definitely book a room directly next time I come to Qingyuan. The room is clean and the space is not too small. The most important thing is that the service is very good, especially the lobby staff. It is obvious that the hotel has trained them very well and they are very attentive to the guests. I hope your hotel will praise the front desk colleagues who worked on the evening shift on April 26. Their good service gave me a different understanding of low-priced hotels. The location is not in a busy area, but you can find three meals a day nearby. Because I don't have a mainland phone card, I have to rely on the waitress to help me get a taxi every time. Her enthusiasm, smile, and service are all worth 100 points... Because we woke up late in the morning, the hotel manager gave us 3 breakfast coupons. We are very grateful. It’s not about money. She was very considerate and took into account that we might not have breakfast at this time... I hope to stay at James Joyce Hotel again when I come to Qingyuan for vacation next time.

The room is very beautiful, the decoration style is very retro and modern, the space is very spacious and there are big windows! Quiet and clean. The bedding is also comfortable! Fast internet speed! Very convenient for office work! Great 👍🏻 Will come again next time
