I received a call in the afternoon on the day of check-in asking me to add WeChat and send the location. He told me on the phone that I had booked another building, which was a suite. I didn't care and just emphasized to the customer service that it was a king-size room with breakfast included. I drove along the way following the navigation on WeChat. It felt like I passed through several villages. All the roads were narrow in the village. There were children playing on the roadside and villagers parked their cars on the roadside to wash them. You had to be extra careful. Looking at the endless unnamed roads and various turns in the navigation, I had no choice but to keep driving. Just when it showed that I was almost there, the most challenging part came. It turned out to be a very narrow bridge. There were all kinds of people taking photos and checking in on the bridge, as well as cars passing by and several children walking on the bridge. There were also people driving outward from the other side of the bridge. They missed each other for a long time. I was glad that there were no scratches and it was not too dark. The B&B was not like the photos I booked, nor was it the style I saw. The customer service said it was in the Meng'an art style, and there was also an exhibition of sketches by art students from Nanjing University. Personally, I don’t really like Mondrian’s colorful grids, and visiting art exhibitions is not my purpose. You can go to art galleries to appreciate art exhibitions quietly. In short, this is definitely not the external environment in the photos. I asked the customer service and they said they couldn't refund the room fee. Also, considering that it was getting dark and I didn't want to drive through the winding village roads, I chose to stay. The furnishings in the room were rather simple. The sofa in the living room made a strange noise when one sat on it. The small table was very small, but the kettle was particularly large. There was no suitable table or chair for reading or writing. The switch for the bedside lamp on one side was blocked by the bed, so I could only turn on the light on one side. You can take a shower in the bathroom, but there is a reminder that the hot water capacity is fifteen minutes, which is very embarrassing. If you shower too fast or too slow, you still have to think about the time. There is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom, only a clothes basket. I didn't dare to use it because it is difficult to ensure the hygiene of such a clothes basket. There was a decorative painting hanging above the head of the bed. It looked very heavy. I couldn’t accept this kind of arrangement with potential safety hazards, so I didn’t sleep well the whole night and woke up at 5:30. The advantage of waking up early is that there is no one outside, so you can take pictures of scenery that is different from that during the day. You can also walk around the village and see the villagers who have woken up early. This is an unexpected gain. I will also feel the design of this B&B at times like this. In short, this B&B made me spend a lot of time and energy, and it was not real relaxation and leisure.
