The hotel is very close to the ancient city, West Street, Bell Tower, and Kaiyuan Temple, with convenient transportation and surrounded by time-honored food. Most importantly, the store owners are very enthusiastic and proactively recommend local food and travel guides, which is what I value. The room price is also quite reasonable, and you can drink tea in the lobby at night, which is pretty good and worth recommending.

Booked 6 nights stay here and still satisfied until the last day. Friendly staff from the reception and the room service. Excellent location to most of the attractions in Quanzhou Licheng district. Comfortable room and bed made me a very cozy feeling. They will provide fruits and snacks every morning after room cleaning and desserts is available at night. Although the hotel design a bit outdated but very well maintained. Will recommend to friends and relatives if they plan to visit Quanzhou.

I spent 3 nights here, and the overall experience was not pleasant. When I arrived the first day, the front desk gave me a room that was not livable. It was so close to the next building (see photos). I requested to have the room changed for the second night. The manager upgraded to a better room. However, I wanted to try the spa using the coupon from the hotel. The spa manager said this coupon is only good for spending 980 or more, but it wasn't said anywhere in the coupon. Then, I wanted to use Dianping. She said they no longer honor Dianping. This hotel accepts large group tour, the tour girl was yelling at the lobby using an amplified speaker, which is very unprofessional at a 5 star hotel. The third night was the most expensive. She said she would honor the ctrip price but charge me 100 more. I don't understand why it is so difficult to be honest. The breakfast was good, the service was friendly but not honest, if you are not 100% alert, you will pay more. The Japanese restaurant was not good, the eel wasn't fresh and the taste was decent.

Good hotel with spacious rooms and nice view. Convenient with lots of shops, restaurants and convenience stores around (to which staff will direct you if you want a beer as they do not have anything in the hotel). Only a restaurant for breakfast. Staff speak barely or no English. Overall good. I like a Western breakfast; it was okay but not special. Coffee and a bit of toast and an egg; done. Stayed here on business trip; good for overnight hotel.

We impressed with the service here. Multiple employees we met, including Peter at the bell desk, were so genuinely helpful and kind. Service is definitely a highlight at this property. The rooms here are very large and comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate shower and tub. The room was very quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel at the main buffet restaurant. In the evening, the seafood buffet was a great experience

Xiamenair is near a food street which opens late into the night. It takes about 20-30 minutes walk to the Old Town attractions. Better to get a taxi or didi e-hailing. The staff was very helpful. Fruits and light snacks are provided in the evening/night at the lift lobby on every floor. The sleep was excellent. It wasn’t noisy at all in my room facing the street. Hot water shower and the air conditioning work very well. I used CNY500 as cash deposit. But the service staff was kind to return me the deposit without having to wait too long.
