I was pleasantly surprised by how good value and location this place was. The room was clean and the reception area is spacious and friendly. Especially the girl at the reception, I don't remember her name well may be something like Xinyue. Anyways she was extremely helpful and gave us tips on food, transport and hidden spots. Everything was perfect. This is probably the best place to stay location wise and comfort wise.

People are very nice and friendly there! They help you where needed. Room is pretty basic, but has everything you need. 10 min walk from temples and shopping streets

Very good nice place and helpful staff. Location in an artsy district but far from center: rent their scooter for one day and you can enjoy the city a lot!

Really enjoyed my stay here, front desk was very helpful in answering our questions. There's also a dog and cat (so cute) and if you have any questions you can add them on WeChat and they'll answer you quite fast :) Do take note that there is no lift and you'll need to climb the stairs. There's also self-service washing machine at the back which you'll need to pay to use. Free baggage drop and there's a very big lounge area which is very suitable if you are traveling with friends or looking to make new friends. The bunk beds are usually on the first level.
It's a bit far from convenience stores but you can order in takeout (they'll deliver to the front desk and you'll need to pick it up) else there's also some cafes and restaurants around the area. For cheaper eat you'll need to walk out abit more but it is still within a walkable distance. Although there's also someone singing at night from the nearby cafes, I do feel that the soundproofing is done well and couldn't really hear much after closing the door.

Hands down my favorite hostel in the whole of China. Very energetic and nice staff that speak good English. They gave me a pdf guide to the city and even offered to join them for dinner after I came back in the evening.
There's a pool table, table football and boardgames if you want to play, and they even have a screen set up for movie nights if you desire. They have a very cute cat and a dog that likes to cuddle.
The rooms are good and clean, no complaints there whatsoever.
Due to my visa running out I only got to stay one night, but I'm sure I will return in the future. Do fully recommend.
