It was good. The owner offered me a different room if I wanted to because it was available. That room had it's own bathroom so it was more convenient than the one I booked.
This is a laojia, so in the common area is uncovered.
The shower and toilet aren't separated, which isn't my preference but it's ok.

Amazing traditional Fujian House in the centre of the historic town. Great location near the Kaiyuan temple, great rooms and terrace, highly recommended.

One of the best places I have stayed at, not only in China but in general! The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, almost like a small museum. The room was clean and comfortable, the location ideal for walking around as well as public transport, and the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay here, if you are heading to Quanzhou I definitely recommend it. 😊

A copper lock introduces me to a small courtyard with a very ancient style; due to limited time, although we did not communicate much, I also felt that the owner was versatile and thoughtful; the models placed in the room made people more imaginative...
The pet cats playing comfortably in the courtyard added more fun, I will come again if I have the chance!

I chose this small courtyard by chance. It has an antique flavor and few glass items. The boss must like antique ideas and can make red brick tea mats. The three kittens in the yard are not afraid of people. One is taking a nap in the kitchen, one is strolling, and the other is sleeping in the open cabinet at the door. The boss's little daughter is so cute. I really want to sleep with the cow cat, but the boss doesn't let me and asks me to drive it out hahahaha.
