Romantic Hotels in Queenstown

The room is comfortable and clean. The pillows on the bed are soft and hard. The bathroom has no odor. Overall, it is not bad. The highlight is the view outside the window. The most impressive thing is the big tree at the door. There is a bus stop at the door, which goes directly to the airport for $10 per person. My English level is limited, but I can communicate with the front desk. The attitude is very good, except that I can't understand it very well. The next morning, I ate breakfast at my own expense. It was $35 per person. It was not worth it, but everything else was good.

The facilities are not bad, the service is really not in line with the requirements. Complete self-service. It was cold and there was no air conditioning, the heating stove was broken and repaired, and the room was not changed. The squatting can use the electric oil they don't know from the cellar, and they barely resist freezing. Request star service bypass, the price is not high, not recommended

Pounamu apartments super suites are the upstairs units with a small balcony. The view over the lake and the mountains was really nice, especially after a snowfall overnight. Inside the unit, the kitchen was very functional with oven, cooktop and microwave. Air conditioning and fake fireplace kept the unit to a reasonable heat at the start of winter but this may be an issue in the middle of winter. The shower had great water pressure and great hot water. It too about 15 minutes to walk into the city centre but the walk back along the lake requires a walk up a hill which was a little taxing so the main road is a better way back. Short drive to New World and Woolworths in Frankton.

The hardware of the room is quite high-end. Especially the bed, which is very comfortable. You can park your car in the hotel, and the room is right after the elevator. It is very convenient to travel. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to the city center. A bus can take up to 11 people. It is best to make an appointment in advance. You can see the starry sky at night, which is very beautiful. The hotel does not provide mineral water, but can provide milk every day. This milk is very delicious. Remember to ask the front desk staff for it.

The room is a little small, but the location is really good. It faces the lake and the restaurant has a lake view. The overall service is good. It is convenient to go everywhere. The service staff are very enthusiastic. There are many projects in Queenstown. It is very fun.

Hotel was in a great location and had everything we needed; however, needs some updates. TV was partially broken and bathroom fan broken. Told the receptionist and he said he knew about it already. Also, walls are very thin so can hear flushing toilets and people walking about all through the night. Not a great sleep! Not too much of an issue, but as Queenstown is expensive, would be nice to have these things fixed if they knew about them!

The apartment had everything that I needed, from comfy beds, cosy living area with a fireplace, a very good kitchen with oven and dishwasher, to a clean a minimalist looking bathroom. However, the only downside was the parking space. Even after reserving parking space, we could not get one after we went out in the night as groups of tourists from China took up the parking space without reservation. Not trying to be racist, it’s just facts.

Definitely! Book a lake view room! The pictures were taken in the room and balcony. Don't expect too much from the room facilities, it's just the level of domestic homestays, but the scenery is really beautiful! The front desk staff is very friendly. We are a family of three, and they also took the initiative to provide sofa bed extra bed service (Figure 1) There is no free mineral water, you can ask the front desk for free tap water, boiled water can also be used to make tea, no odor. The hair dryer is Dyson 🤩 It's a 5-8 minute walk from the town center, but there is a big slope, which is a bit unfriendly to the elderly and people with poor legs and feet, and it will be a bit tiring. It is not recommended to drive by yourself, because parking in Queenstown is really too difficult (◍•﹏•)

Pros: the hotel room was really clean and spacious Location was good, really near the main shops area Cons: the hotel informed there was no parking available as their carpark was full and it was first come first serve. So guests are expected to circle the hotel vicinity for a lot when they arrive? Especially when it’s stated that parking is available onsite. Front desk staff was really rude with an attitude. She suggested street parking but I told her I wasn’t comfortable with parallel parking and she just got really rude with a take it or leave it attitude. We booked two rooms but she only gave one room’s card and I had to remind her for the other room’s card. Anyways. The hotel is a maze where we had to take lift to a different level, walk to a different building and take another lift to get to the room. Abit creepy for solo travellers. Overall; the rooms are well maintained but beware of the lack of parking + rude staff

The lobby is very warm and comfortable. The lake view balcony room is honest and beautiful. The food and milk delivered to the room are fast and delicious.
