My friend and I stayed at the castello for a long weekend and had the dreamiest break. The medieval village is fascinatingly steeped in 900 years of history, and is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery we've ever come across. We had a 3-bed apartment which was traditional in style and very comfortable, with large double beds, decent bathrooms & a great kitchen/dining room. We had everything we could have needed. Ilaria was warm and welcoming, and arranged a fantastic wine tasting for us and recommended various things to do in the local area. We also made use of the pool - very decent size and in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility and a break from the busyness of our everyday lives. However, the paths and roads are very steep, so people with mobility challenges might find it a bit tricky to get around.

Sulla sommita di una collina si erge il Castello Ginori di Querceto. Il.borgo è piccolo, con una chiesetta, la piazza al centro e " La locanda del sole", gestito con amore da Carmen e Francsco che vale assolutamente la fermata. L ' appartamento che ci ha ospitato, casa bortoli, adatto a 2 persone , è costituito da camera con bagno e salottino. È presente un angolo cottura provvisto di tutto. La.chicca dell appartamento è certamente il terrazzino esclusivo da cui si accede da una piccola scala all interno dell appartamento: vista stupenda sulla valle e sul tramonto in questo periodo dell anno. Unica pecca: le macchine all interno del borgo

Questo borgo ti accoglie con scorci a dire poco STUPENDI , noi abbiamo alloggiato in appartamento BARTOLI che ha una terrazzina stupenda dove godersi dei tramonti incantevoli , appartamento molto pulito e in stile. Accesso alla piscina con auto, molto pulita e attrezzata ma con qualche tafano di troppo… All’interno del borgo la LOCANDA DEL SOLE ci ha coccolato per colazioni pranzi e cene con piatti ottimi e tanta cordialità, e il circolo del borgo sempre pronti per caffè o spuntino è una chiacchiera Ottima esperienza

Querceto war für unsere kleine Familie eine Offenbarung! Inmitten schönster Natur kommt man in den bezaubernden Burgweiler und darf den Alltag und die Zeit völlig vergessen. Die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung lag am Ende des Örtchens mit traumhaftem Blick, zumal kühl, da eine Art Gewölbe. Wir waren oft abends im Ort (vielleicht 200 m), um uns dort auf die Terrasse für die Gäste zu setzen und die schöne Atmosphäre zu genießen. Der Pool war phantastisch inmitten der Olivenhaine, wir waren jeden Tag dort. Die Gästebetreuerinnen waren bezaubernd und immer hilfreich. Wir möchten am liebsten morgen zurück!

Personale attento e cordiale. Ambiente caratteristico e suggestivo. Vista e tramonto spettacolari. Emozionante vedere i cinghiali liberi nei boschi fin sotto le mura. Abbastanza accogliente l appartamento.

In augustus zijn wij hier een weekje geweest. Het contact met de receptie is fijn en persoonlijk. Het appartement was ruim en schoon. Het is dorpje ligt wel een beetje afgelegen. Je hebt echt wel een auto nodig. Al met al, een heerlijke, rustige vakantie gehad in een prachtige omgeving.

Schitterende locatie in Toscane. Er is een goed restaurant en er wordt lekkere wijn gemaakt die je er uiteraard kunt kopen. Er is een klein winkeltje welke willekeurig open is voor lekkere koffie / aperol spritz. Huisje Riccardo was ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanuit de ramen is er een schitterend uitzicht op het Toscaanse landschap. Echt heel bijzonder dat je de wilde zwijnen vanuit het raam kunt zien lopen. Er zijn maar weinig minpunten te bedenken, enige wat wij toch hebben gemist is een airco, door de warmte in de dikke kasteelmuren blijft het ‘s nachts ook warm. Tevens is een nadeel dat het gemeenschappelijke (mooie) zwembad alleen via een stijl en deels onverhard pad is te bereiken. In de omgeving genoeg moois te zien: Volterra, Montescudiao, Casale Marittimo, Cecina, allemaal goed te doen met de auto. Ook in de omgeving zijn leuke adresjes te vinden om lekker te eten. Samenvattend een prachtig vakantie adres.

Posto nascosto dal solito turismo ma vale la pena andarci per fare una degustazione alla Dispensa del Castello personale gentilissimo ed ottimo vino . Il paese ha 35 residenti e si gira in pochi minuti ma l’atmosfera è magica . Cenare poi ai piedi del castello nella unica locanda non ha prezzo .
